See folks, OFR knows exactly what they’re doing because they are pros. I constantly hear about the importance of water changes but adding plants not only handles the job for OFR, it also makes their aquariums look even more beautiful. So they’re not just fish keepers, they also care for a wide variety of plants! Pretty cool.

did you know that you can cut Pothos plants and just stick them rootless in the water and then they will just root?
great video josh as always have you thought about getting some more stones for the monster pond for the shallow end as over time the stones get washed down to the deep end might be easier then trying to try spread it out
Yes there is actually 3" of gravel. But with monsterfish they wash down the slope. So periodically I have to fill a bucket in the deep end and bring them back to the shallow end

You should plant those irises along the creek to stop the banks from eroding.
I lined the edges with concrete pieces and the rest filled in with grass. But not a bad idea. We took them to the native pond tho 😊

How those little fishes not get eaten by the arapaimas and other bigger fishes?
There's so many that if they do get eaten it's not noticed and they are well fed so no reason to eat them

If his kidneys went bad, or had neurological issues. That's internal. He wasn't sick, showing signs of sickness or stress. Safe to feed

Bad thing is is you can't get rid of them you leave one itty-bitty route and it all starts over I've noticed that your cichlid colony is growing in the monster pain again that was starting to get a little sparse

Big rich is forever talking about how he really doesn't like to live feed unless he has to, while Josh is steadily feeding dead little Rich and any of his dead homies to Brutus LOL
That is still not live feeding. I'm not spending money on live fish and bringing them home and feeding them or killing them by giving them out as food.
