ACP Poster Presentation--Winning Clinical vignette Student 2016

Example of the under 3 minute poster presentation of a complex case as originally presented in San Jose at Northern California American College of Physicians meeting. This poster was selected as the winning student clinical vignette and Sameera was invited to present at the ACP Annual Session in spring 2017 in San Diego.

She memorized and presented. She did not discuss the case.

Exactly. This represents an example of a (memorized) presentation of a clinical vignette case. A discussion might be more if someone wandered up and began asking her about the case and interacting as well asking questions. For the judges she has 3 minutes to present and they ask questions for 2 minutes and then they move away to confer in private, assign points for presentation, content and poster layout and then on to the next poster. This won the student clinical vignette category that year.
