You look absolutely beautiful, soft subtle and just stunning, I showed this video with my S/A at Chanel counter, he reckons your application is flawless, he said I should give you a recommended tip, he says pls pls try your foundations in rosy shades, try get samples of a BR tone in your foundations 💕
Hi, thank you! It's a beautiful collection. I have tried cool toned foundations in the past and they don't look great on me. The redness that I have on my neck and chest is from sun damage over the years which I will probably get fixed this year (our Winter) which can only be done via laser. I could try a sample of a BR and see how it goes. Next time you see your SA thank him for his lovely compliment and I appreciate you watching and commenting on my video. Any thoughts on this quad compared to the Spring Chantecaille quartet? I may pick up both, but have held off on the Chantecaille since I am waiting for Chanel release. I may just go for both, but I have A LOT of eye shadow and really have no business getting more (but let’s not kid ourselves, I will) but if you could only choose one, which and why? Maybe a video-worthy discussion!

Adding the highlighting fluid to the foundation is a brilliant hack. I tried it a while back and loved it.

I LOVE this and I am a sucker for pinks and purples in my clothes during the spring / summer .. SO I have the CHANTECAILLE palette (through your link 😘) and I LOVE the pink in that one .. is there enough difference to get this CHANEL palette also .. for the purple ?? Decisions decisions.. I think I will get the BLUSH from Chanel and use it with the palette from CHANTECAILLE .. it ALL looks amazing on you 😘
Hi, the Chantecaille pink is lovely. The Chanel one is more soft and is warmer with brown in it. I do think the purple in the Chanel is beautiful. Both quads are so pretty….sorry, not much help lol 💕

Any tips for eyeshadow base? Your pigment comes out so well? Or do you think the eyeshadow itself has a good pigment?
Hi, I use an eyeshadow primer mainly because of my oily skin and for this quad I did use natural hair brushes. I would say this is a subtle quad but is buildable. If you want extra pigment you can always try dampening your brush, initially using a more dense brush and then buff it out or sometimes finger application works well too but I only tend to use that for the half of the eyelid from inner corner to about the middle and then I always buff it slightly with a fluffy brush. These are soft, pastel shades so for that type of colour story it has good pigment. 🦋

Hi, thank you 🦋. I use quite a few different products. Last year I did a video on my evening skincare routine and I plan to do a morning skincare routine hopefully fairly soon. But as a rough guide I use (apart from cleansers, toners and moisterisers) BHAs, AHAs, retinol, vitamin C, niacinamide (some only once a week, others every day but either morning or night). And ALWAYS sunscreen, every single day.
I realise this may be a difficult question Maria but I’m interested in the new Chantecaille quartet as well as the Chanel one. What are your thoughts regarding these two? I’ve watched both videos but I’m still unsure on which to choose …..
Hi, if you like a true neutral pink and a shimmer taupe then Chantecaille maybe more of a preference. However if you love the purple and the deep mauve brown then maybe the Chanel. The pink in the Chanel is more warm than the Chantecaille one. Both quads are beautiful 🦋

Hi, I can try and swatch tomorrow and out on Instagram. The Chantecaille’s pink is a true neutral pink whereas the Chanel one has more warmth. Also the Chantecaille has a shimmer taupe whereas the Chanel doesn’t. The brown in the Chanel is a mauve brown. 🦋
