Going out on a limb here with a silly comment, but perhaps if one had a hiking stick or pole maybe a pair of poles one probably stay dry on them creek crossing 🤷♂️ like I said just a silly thought 😀😆 ✌️🤙
Impressive. Bushwhacking your way through State Game Lands to intercept a trail is no easy feat. This is how many stories of lost hikers begin. Stoney Creek is one of the only water crossings I've ever had to do. I'll never forget that creekside tree with the big yellow blaze confirming, "Yes! Into the water with you."
Man, I’m sorry you feel. I’m glad you weren’t hurt, and that your shoes and socks were safe from the water…and your camera! Looks like it was a beautiful day and a beautiful hike. Blessings, David
Small round flower looked like Dwarf Gensing. Dark butterfly was one of the Duskywing species. Black-throated Green Warbler singing at 18:10 on your video. Must have been close as they are high pitched with little carrying power. The small mammal may have been a Short-tailed Shrew, but not sure. I enjoyed your woodland trek and video. Have you seen a Fisher yet?
Now this was incredibly watchable. Had a good laugh at your expense, glad you didn’t hurt yourself. That was a nice part of the trail. Really enjoyed this. Thanks for taking me along. Please take care
That is exactly why they tell you to not wear “COTTON “ if you were in the middle of your hike and. It was a bit cooler you could be in trouble. You would have been totally dry in minutes with synthetic clothing. Water crossing shoes are helpful too
@19:30 in the video, after an ad it went to show like it was the end of it, with other videos to pick from. Solar flares since yesterday affecting electronics and wifi. It's been glitchy crapola lol. Great hike tho. God Bless. 🙏🙏
So your saying taking a dip in the river at the start of a hike ISNT the best idea? Well at least you only got wet and didn't hurt yourself like a twisted ankle or worse, one section looks like an abandoned road way or as you found out a pipeline route which they do tend to keep moderately clear.
Do you think maybe there was a better place to cross? I hope you didn't get hurt. That looked kinda big for a mole, sure it wasn't a shrew? I guess things look different in person tho. Loved this hike, minus you falling of course. I too like the diversity of the Horseshoe trail, the woods meadows, roads. Heres a stupid question...do you carry a towel in your pack? If not how do you dry your feet? I wouldn't like putting socks on wet feet. Stay safe.❤❤❤❤❤
if you were filming when you fell, that would be great for a blooper reel! Love the videos
Consider yourself immersed in Spring! I will be doing my best to 'float' across those muddy patches along the trail.
GT Comments Yeh in my country Spring finally Arrived 2wks bk🌄👣😊🦦🦫🇨🇮

How common are bear in Pennsylvania? In Michigan our bear are mostly in northern lower peninsula or the UP.
Population has more than tripled since the 70’s. More sightings closer to me in the last 30 years. Bucks Co. 🐻
Not too many, but they are becoming more common.
They,re big tad poles should be getting back legs soon. The ones I saw are very small.
❤ 🐎 👞

No towels, bare feet dry off rather quickly before putting socks back on.
Sorry but that was funny...glad you did not get hurt.
Gt see flowers n butterfly n hear birds. Sorry harmless mole
@Wandering Woodsman, Cliff.. How long, total miles is the horeseshoe trail?? I've been watching all of them and thats a huge trail.
140
@@thewanderingwoodsman7227 140 miles! Wow! No wonder it takes so long to do the whole thing! Thanks for answering.
The seed pods are probably from a Paulownia tree.
An official "Keep Out" sign.
U made me laugh 😂😂😂😂😂
Did you find any Road Apples?
I can’t believe you were picking at a mole! Yuck.
