- Did you know that there are some borders around the world where you can freely move from one country to another without any customs control? These borders are known as seamless borders. Ecuador and Peru signed a free transit agreement allowing citizens to move within the Huaquillas and Aguas Verdes border. I decided to visit the unusual border crossing.

Nice video! The same happens along the Brazilian border with its neighboring countries, in some places you can just walk freely and cross the borders…
I heard and seen videos about it. However, foreigners got in trouble for it because for them is illegal. Right?

Yeah i only went to paraguay for a few hours, this was close to foz do Iguacu. About 9 years ago@@paveltrips

Regarding the border, I can tell you that when I traveled through the Darién jungle and arrived in Panama, the border with Costa Rica was also like that. That’s what I was told. But is it just for one town or you can continue to travel on without immigration problems?
@@paveltrips there is no other inmigration/border checkpoint unless you are driving to panama city with foreign plates the police might stop you just to check on you.

@@paveltrips there is only one border (with many checkpoints) in panama, costa rica. Unless you are leaving from the airport you need the stamps. Just to be safe stop at the inmigration building in David, Panama. If you are walking thru darien to colombia the problem its there is no border. 😅

@@HanaCosine because this particular border crossing is in one specific city (more might exist) between Ecuador and Peru, for the sole purpose of commerce and avoid territorial conflict. However, a proper immigration border exist 3km away from the city (as shown in the video) if you wish to continue travel or work within the opposite country. Which is not the case within the EU. Secondly, it’s a border in the middle of the market… These factors make it weird to ME!
That's why drugs don't have to b smuggled they enter free
