Great knot for rigging as well .
What is t purpose of blake's hitch when tree climbing? (newbie).
You throw your climbing line over a tree crouch..then tie it like this guy did to pull yourself up a tree...check out Edjucated climber's video on blake's hitch...he shows ho to tie it and how to use it.
