It's been 3 years since I'm suffering from acne. Never had this issue. But suddenly what happened Idk. Listened to people and damaged the skin barrier so badly, like not using any product at all, no moisturizer nothing, applying allum water🤦🏻♀️okay it did work but didn't even know that it's pH is too high and bad for skin in long run. And all of this was happening in 2020. My family treated me like I'm some kind of foreign animal they abhor, like I've brought such a shame on them. I was so depressed, I used to avoid people, my confidence level was diminishing. Then started seeing homeopathy, it worked but it also didn't work, means the acnes started to come back. In 2021 I decided to see a proper dermat and this time it did work. I was on Isotretinoin and topically on Clindamycin and some other gel for the inflammed bumps. Now I've stopped medication, I wouldn't say I'm completely cured but yes I'm 90% cured. Still getting pimples here and there but thank god I'm not in pain anymore. I'm now on clean journey to heal my skin and I think It would get better each day. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I'll start on retinoid soon.
@Aafiya ghassan no it didn't come back after my course. It was a 2 months journey for me that got rid of my 3 years of suffering. For 1st one month I had to take one capsule a day along with lactobacillus tablet. Then on 2nd month after some improvement my doctor lowered the frequency, 1 capsule every alternate day. Both were followed by two topical creams, Clindamycine and one for painful bumpy lesions two times a day. Slowly everything started to look better, tbh I did get pimples here and there while on the course but nowhere the angry painful flares. But my skin texture was horrible and I was red faced. And as my natural skin barrier got healed I'm completely cured of it now. Once in a blue moon I get one pimple somewhere.

Whatever you said about isotretinoin is true. My doc gave me but after 2 months of uses i felt weird in feelings and also in other actives. Sleep cycle fucked up , waking in the middle of the night and nightmares . Isotretinoin surely worked but i couldn't continue and stopped. After 20/25 days Everything got better although i didn't ask my doc that I'm stopping as my acnes r gone ✨.Rn I'm not seeing any derma , skin is better . Maybe one or two breakouts but it's fine 🙂 Can't F up my sleep 💤
