With almost no music knowledge, I programmed a portion of this piece into a Commodore 64 in the 80’s, one note at a time, building up a three note chord, with the fourth voice being the drum beat. (C=64 had three wave voices and one random white noise.) What was long enough years later for a Nokia 3210 ring tone, or later a smart phone message tone, took me about eight hours over three days to identify notes, convert them to values, and punch them into a simple program. There is something to be said about studying at least a couple of years of music and buying a midi keyboard. Doing it unskilled by hand is a marathon.
The Canon is as ubiquitous at weddings as Mendelsson's wedding march. To think Pachelbel was forgotten in his own time and the Canon was lost until Jean Francois Paillard dusted it off and had his orchestra play it where it caught fire.
Bro, thank you! I love Canon in D. And this pic is good also. I loved this one! Can you make more of Canon like this? I know you have a lot of other songs, but Canon is a universe, and you can play it with more times ^.^. Thanks again!
Really not that epic. To the people who like this piece and electronic music, i suggest to listen to Tomita's version, or even Future Sound of London evocation (Domain).
What a beautiful music and a beautiful perfect picture.
Всё кругом озаряется .....
