Thank you so much for the information to the both of you, I understand Dr. Kensley Behel. One of the things that happens to a lot of students in college is the struggle of them keeping up and that’s how injuries happen, one other thing also that we should talk about is therapy. I feel like therapy should be one of the main key to any injury besides physical therapy, many people don’t seek personal therapy because they feel lost. Thank you, and this is my first Podcast i listened to I will listen to the other five. This me being your biggest fan on vacation listening to your Podcast, thank you to the both of you. Dr. Kensley Behel thank you very much for all the information

I completely agree with you about having a culture (whether within music or life in general) that’s more welcoming and able to speak and care for mental health issues. The mind and the body is connected so If the mental health is not doing great, the body will let you know was well. I hope you enjoy the other podcasts as well! Thank you for your support!

One thing I don’t think is discussed enough is how the effects of a healthy diet can improve cognitive function which in turn helps with memorization and performance at one’s instrument. Personally speaking, carbohydrates in large amounts make me foggy and turn my brain to mush. Many studies are now linking the over-consumption of carbohydrates to the influx of cognitive disorders that have recently been plaguing society including various forms of dementia like Alzheimer’s.

Oh I am so glad you brought up healthy diets and Carbs. There are many books and studies on this topic and my personal experience has been the same as you. Not to mention the drop in glucose levels destabilizing mood and focus!
