Causes include immodest costume, and a lack of prudence with regards to near and remote occasions of sin. Remedies include cold showers, cooler air temperature (60s degrees F), and self-talk. The latter can be effected through repeating the phrase over and over probably in one's head "I distrust myself. I trust in God alone." This seems to be a way of reducing one's resistance to God's grace. Also, the body's change can be worked against. This can be accomplished repetition of the phrase "This leads to Hell." What is being done here is that fear is being used to counter the hope of irrational and immoral activities associated with the Sixth Commandment. Finally, the moral requirement is that there is no internal consent. This can be avoided by means of the repetition of the phrase: "I don't want this."
Genesis we are the masters of the animals and stewards of the earth, so calm down animal lover, let the words of the priest sink in your soul, don't worry about the dog In domino
@fadiabdallah8388 the Lord has commanded the care of animals not the abuse them. If you actually read scripture you'd see that 🙃 being a steward doesn't include being a tyrant.
@@BindingTheYoke friend I love animals and look after them etc, but there are priorities in life to look after the needy, to oppose abortion, to oppose assisted killing and the list goes on, we were created to the image of God so no need for uncharitable comment on the priest, people becoming do attached to animals that humans become the least important. Finally I read the bible I don't use the term scriptures it's very protestant In domino
@fadiabdallah8388 you assume too much about me and infer more virtue toward yourself than you deserve. Perhaps the lack of charity you think you see in me is actually in yourself. I don't have an inordinate love of animals over people, you just project that I do because I pointed out the obvious cruelty that no one wants to acknowledge how unnecessary it was. 😒 they want to justify a bad action because they got the outcome they wanted. But I will call a spade a spade. And you can call me whatever but the truth speaks for itself. God has commanded the welfare of the animals entrusted in the compilation of scripture in the Bible 🙃 to remind you not to be cruel to your animals.
Sounds like animal cruelty, I'm sorry. That is arguably sinful and at the very least disrespectful of God's creation. He could have killed the dog by his own poor judgment. This video was good spiritually but very disappointing practically for those with real and practical struggles of the flesh. Yes, increasing trust in God obviously is key. But there must be a very practical implementation of that trust (eg. Daily Rosary, acts of penance, understanding the implications of solitary sin among others, which the clergy are very weak in teaching). Common, guys - you can do better than this. God bless you.
'Christ loves us more than Satan hates us' - wonderful!

Thank you 🙏🏻 Benedicamus Domino. Deo gratias!
I guess I am Christlike in my sleeping ability.😄
Your comment nothing but an offense and lacks charity wow

Our Lady of Good Success > will be a spread of > Blasphemy, Heresy, and impurity!!
Hmmm I take it that priest who taught that dog a lesson has the vice of Avarice as opposed to impurity.. since cruelty is often the side effect. 🙃
It’s not animal cruelty. You need to train animals to learn to behave so they don’t hurt themselves. He saved the dog!
