Thank you. I was born in '63 and my Dad sat me down to watch the Moon landing live. It stuck with me and I've been waiting (not so) patiently for thing's to start happening. I think this is a case of "The Future aint what it used to be". I remember all the stuff about the post-apollo programs that were going to happen in the 70s, which never happened. Might be a subject of a future video.
Oh my this brings back amazing memories. I was in the 3rd grade when Werner Von Braun's original moonship designs were on the Disneyland television show. My mother had kept all the back issues of Collier's and Life with all the space stuff, and finally I could read them and fully understand what was going on! Thank you so much!
The Disney space films from the 50's were a huge influence on how I approached some of my space art. I keep thinking I want to do a similar animation with the 'Umbrella Ship'.
I debated with going the realistic route. The rest of the video is designed that way. I thought it would be fun to have the 'original' lunar surface and went with it, even though it took a lot longer to render with 'real' displacement.
Some great choices for dramatic viewing angles here.
Thank you! I tried to get some interesting shots where I could.
The "Werner's Disciples" congratulate you on this .
Means a lot, thank you!
I was born in 1959 and saw many TV programs and picture books of this space technology back in the 1960s. Great video on how we saw the near future.

It's been a pleasure!
Terrific! I watched all of the Disney Tomorrow Land shows and went into engineering. The Disney team was a great educator.

Very cool and so well done. This is the future I expected back when I was a kid.
U.S. SPACE FORCE.
Same here. I've been waiting for the 'real' space age for 50 years now and it's getting depressing. Maybe Elon will make it happen?
Excellent stuff ... well done O
Nice! I love those concepts.
I like the Bonestell lunar surface choice.

@@owenrichards1418 It was the right choice.
Very well done.
Thank You.
Thank you too. This age of pre-spaceflight fascinates me. It was fun to do.
Well done. Great models.
Thank you!
Very impressive.
Thank you very much!
Very cool.
