Not sure about "her", Ateez songs are never gendered (apart from Hongjoong's "boy I can't let you go" in Eternal Sunshine, but that can arguably be him asking someone to say that to him). Well, and there's a bunch of "yes sir"s :)
Oh, and in the ending scene, it's Hongjoong's hand, I'm pretty sure - the broken hourglass and Yeosang being lost are part of their storyline, "our" Yeosang gets separated from the group and is then found by their alternate selves from the dystopian, futuristic reality, that loops back to the Say My Name MV, that's where we first saw the glass prison.

i got 2 questions for you while i pause:
1. you always have a pretty good memory of the previous mvs youve watched even though some time might have passed. do you have a really good memory or by chance do you watch the mv again before watching a new one?
2. for all the songs youve reacted to do you ever come back to listen to them? :) has any of them made your playlist?
I usually just decide which MV's to react to and I happen to remember some details about previous videos, I don't re-watch videos in preparation for a reaction :) I guess I have a decent memory for music and cinema, which are things that I love, with other things my memory is not the greatest hehe. And yeah there's a lot of songs that have made my Playlist, Stray Kids' Backdoor is actually my ringtone at the moment hehe, but Yeah I listen to G Idle's songs very often, SK and Dreamcatcher, I love Purple Kiss' Memem, I went back to Loona's PTT and listened to it for a few hours straight hehe, same with The Real by Ateez and Black Swan by BTS, CLC's Helicopter, and tons more 😁

The fact that I didn't even noticed the "anal" if you never mentioned it in this video. Now I'm overthinking:) Anyway, this song is really a bop. When it was released, the dadadarada part got stuck in my head for days. Oh, I forgot to tell you about the man in black fedora. It is connected to their storyline. To put it simply, it is Hongjoong's another self (Halateez) who's from another dimension. It also appeared in their MVs "Say My Name" and "Answer". The last part shows how the cromer broke that led to one of them being stuck in another dimension where they fight against Android guardians. I'm sorry I can't explain their whole storyline because it would take an hour if I really tackle every detail. I suggest you also react to theory video regarding Ateez' storyline.

Not sure if you know already, but Ateez and Dreamcatcher have the same producers (especially LEEZ and Ollounder), so in my opinion its easy to like both groups even though they have a totally different style :D

Actually the flower is about Wooyoung (blue hair guy) lol this flower means betrayal and this is very much the confirmation we needed to our suspicions that Wooyoung is some kind of a traitor in ATEEZ’s lore. We still don’t know what he is trying to do, why he betrayed the group or is moving on his own, but yeah !

The hands at the end are Yeosang and Hongjoong (I'm pretty sure it's them, from their behind the scenes) ATEEZ has kinda complicated storyline though. Their songs and videos are always link to each other.
This song took a while to grow on me but now that I've had the chance to see it live at their Berlin concert last week, I absolutely love it. It becomes an entirely different experience on a live stage.
And yes, Deja Vu came after Inception, so the "Dream in a Dream" line is a callback.

Ateez is my favorite 4th gen group. They are magnificent. I never thought I would feel so trapped by a group as much as EXO, and they did it

I don't think it about her, ATEEZ don't really have that kind of style expect from All About You and Hongjoong's "Boy, i cant let you go" in Eternal Sunshine. it connected into their lore. At first maybe it's a Dejavu after meeting their other self HALATEEZ but thinking from the lyrics it's.........too much.

it’s been so long! happy to see you react to them again :) when you react to more you’ll see that there’s a running theme and similarities in MVs, there’s so much lore to them which I absolutely love and think you would too! but also their discography really is flawless.
Although I’m not a dancer, producer , video analist, choreographer. When I whach Deja vu.. I sometimes get Deja vu to other Ateez MV videos and or dances/moves .. red ceiling- Inception, cars - deserted - Firewoks Seonghwa hands high - also Inception.. one with the leg move in triangle shape- I don’t remember the MV- was it answer maybe? Oh, and the butterfly on Yeosang that was Answer for sure! Has someone another flashbacks- Deja vu moments found??? Or am I looking to much into this?
yes, a lot of Deja Vu has callbacks to their previous songs. Including the lore, the dance choreography. That's why the intro they did once for Eternal Sunshine transitioning to Deja Vu sounding has that turning back in time choreo. And is also a call back that Fever series is prequel to Treasure series. The new song series might pick up the story line after Say My Name/Hala Hala.

Loved your commentary on this, you pointed out things that I haven’t really thought before. I think there are some connections to inception with also inception having the water on the floor during the dancebreak (there was also fire on the roof which connects to fireworks) and dejavu ending also had rain and their concept photos for this album also had water theme

YESS thank you for more Ateez content! The majority of their title songs have a heavier rock/rap anthem feel (like The Real) but this is one of the few exceptions. Honestly, it just goes to show that this is a seriously well rounded group. If I could make a recommendation, their live performances are even more intense and put on full display their facial expressions and acting prowess that you mentioned. It might have to be on patreon but their performances on Immortal Songs tend to blow peoples minds. All 5 of those are worth marathoning hehe!

idk theres any story line being followed by them yet but it's very interesting to listen to them as they create very different type of music and they are specially know for that ..people usually call it NOISE music ... but it's more then that in a good way ...
Also NCT has 4 subunits where NCT 127 is fixed unit while NCT dream is where the members put on are younger then rest .. while NCTU is just a unit where members rotate or go in and out & wayV is the Chinese + some other foreign member's sub-unit..

yesss I'm so happy you checked this out! Deja Vu is a masterpiece, i don't make the rules. Also that wasn't a girl's hand at the end, if i had to guess it might've been San and Wooyoung's hands (the guys during the last chorus that you kept rewinding to haha, Wooyoung being the guy who pulls him in and stares at the camera and San being the one who gets pulled lol) because they did something similar where they reach out for and hold each other's hands in their mv Eternal Sunshine which was released closely after Deja Vu, but i could be wrong, it could be any of the members' hands lol (the hand on the right might be Hongjoong's actually, if you look at the sleeves he was wearing that in the ending scene with all the rain so hmm👀 idk) anyway great reaction, looking forward to more ateez!
I think the hands are Yeosang and Hongjoong, I remember watching or reading something where the members were talking about it and if I remember correctly they said the hands were Yeosang and Hongjoong. But maybe I’m wrong

@@emmylia yeah that make sense since wooyoung and san were holding hands for eternal sunshine, but the left hand in deja vu was wearing a ring and yeosang was wearing the same ring in the making deja vu mv so I'm pretty one is yeosang and my guess is the second hand is hongjoong

ATEEZ vs STAY KIDS the twins boys group in kpop . i can't chose who i love the most . they're both very aggressive in a good way , very good dancer , STRAY KIDS as a little bit better rap line but ATEEZ as a better vocal line . and i love all they're songs it's hard to find a bad ATEEZ songs .
They're nothing alike tho

Musically, SKZ and ATZ fit together well. There's something similar about their music and yet different. I've never been able to put my finger on it.
