Ahhh that makes sense!!!! Okay, I didn't like it at first (I agree with him that the ending moment on Captain is a way better ending shot) but THAT is pretty cool!!!!!
9:00 you're mostly right! the hourglass is called the cromer in their lore and at this point in the storyline they were about to get caught by the android guardians in the other dimension (Z) they had travelled to, so the guy (yeosang) is turning it so rest of the members could go back to their original dimension (A) before its powers run out (as you can see the cromer was broken) - that was hongjoong; their captain trying to hold onto yeosang but it cuts out right there. the next song after this is turbulence which is just very emotional since yeosang and the rest of the members are now divided by time and space! I can't wait to see your reaction to that!!

I LOVE their performing skills so much. They are always so thrilling to watch. How can you watch them and not feel you have just been a part of something so great?? ATEEZ is fire. The beginning shot is the same as the ending shot - thus, deja vu.

Mingi (white pants) actually danced so hard he ripped his pants, you can see it during that rain scene, it’s on his left inner thigh. Woosan in that fight scene! Wooyoung has a habit of either kissing San’s neck or biting him & you can usually tell he’s done something, because San will spin off grinning.
the thing with ATEEZ is that their live is waaay better than the MVs. you should check their show stages, if not a concert.

This is definitely in my top fav ATEEZ songs. I believe they chose that ending scene because it was the first scene they started with. Giving the viewers real life Deja Vu.
I never liked rap before getting into KPop and I don't think I ever found a rap sexy before hearing Hongjoong's first rap in this song. He needs to do a whole song where he sounds like that. Just. Wow.
If you’re familiar with the movie Equilibrium the opening shot and some other scenes are from that movie. Equilibrium is an inspiration for their lore.

Since I'm watching the playlist, I don't remember if you said it here or in your Hala Hala reaction or another but regarding the topic of "Why are you watching a reactor if you aren't interested in what they have to say?":
I almost exclusively watch videos of people either reacting to or making Kpop content that I can learn something from.
A couple examples include:
TeddyGreyOnStuff, he knows a lot about rap, techniques, song production and the rap culture.
Car Kpop, arguably THE number 1 creator when it comes to technical knowledge of rapping, especially in Kpop and K-Hiphop.
Form of Therapy, he's the one I've learned the most from in regards to cameras, camera work, lighting and video production.
I'm still missing reactors in the vocal, dance and fashion/styling department that really convince me but you are definitely on the list now because just watching your Ateez reactions I have already learned so much new stuff ❤️
I love to watch people I can learn something from. It's a gift to have guys like you on TH-cam reacting to our favorite groups and artists ❤️
Bottom line is, don't stop what you're doing. There are many people out here who love hearing your opinions and learning from you 🥰❤️

😮 good morning! Oh my gosh! This is the first song I ever heard by them yay!! Ateez my baybees! As someone mentioned I really really recommended their pre-debut dance only performances called KQ FELLAS ATEEZ: I, II, III, and IV (4 is a yunho solo because he's amazing). This and the mv of Hala Hala REALLY showcase their AMAZING dancing abilities. LOVED the reaction!! ❤️🔥

Here's a little guide for anyone who's new regarding how to pronounce their names ❤️
Kim Hongjoong: "Gim Hong-joong"
Park Seonghwa: "Pak Song-wah" and use the "a" as in the last "a" in Australia.
Kang Yeosang: "Kang Yo-sung" Again with the Australia "a"
Choi San: Now, that last name is always tricky because it's not pronounced how it looks like. It's not "Choy", it's "Chuay" or "Chway" and "Sun". Choi San- "Chuay/Chway Sun".
Song Mingi: "Song Ming-gee"
Jung Wooyoung: "Juhng Oo-young" (yes, the W is really silent, I promise)
Jeoong Yunho: "Jong Yoon-Hoh"
Choi Jongho: "Chuay/Chway Jong-Hoh"
Ateez: "Ay-tease"
Atiny: "Ay-teenie"
Note- with Korean names, the emphasis is usually on the first syllable. So, with "Yeosang" for example it's "YEO-sang" and not "yeo-SANG".
Also, I am not a native speaker, so if a Korean native speaker tells you their names are pronounced differently, then trust them.

The one that caught your eye here is Wooyoung! He's the one who set his hat on fire in Halazia, and was the boxer manager in Bouncy, and the really cool mask wipe shot for Guerrilla, and the final standing shot for Hala Hala. (and looking at this playlist, in Wonderland he's the blonde in the chains, Say my name the ashy grey on top of the table with the yes sir line, bulnoriya/fireworks hes the "feel about that" in the chorus and then playing with fire) Fun fact, he's also army, like not just in name but he shows it often, he's Jimin's biggest fan no joke.
You should watch his artist of the month dance cover of Bad. They do a lot of really cool stuff with lighting and color in that. And even with all the fun camera stuff, he's the only one so far that has done his live. So the dance doesn't rely on the camera to make it work, but it just enhances the performance.

Ateez music videos always have extra scenes after the credits like Marvel movies. Your explanation of this one was pretty great, but also completely wrong 😂. That would be the magic hourglass that the Ateez members use to travel to parallel universes, and if it’s broken that means they are stuck in whatever world they are currently in. It’s also a teaser for their turbulence music video.
