Agree..their melody is not a kpop sound maybe it is the reason why they are more popular outside korea.me being not a korean national like their sound coz it is unique mixtures of western sound.i find kpop music sounds repetitive from one kpop group to another kpop groups. And ATEEZ discography is toptier no skip.
I know that is difficult to understand what they’re telling to audience, but that’s because they have one of the most complicated concept in kpop. If you want to get them right, you should watch they’re official video from the beginning and follow the chronological order! You won’t be disappointed!
Yeah ATEEZ are so great and have unique style of their own! This MV is basically a short story of them uniting: Mingi (grey haired deep voiced rapper) is a transfer student and 3 different factions in the school basically want him to join their club; traditional calligraphy, baseball and motorcycle gang. Each club is led by 2 ATEEZ members and they try to persuade Mingi to join by showing off their dance. But in the end they are united and get the book about being cool /with the lightning and everything) and that's when Yeosang joins them (white suit guy), he has been outside of these factions just observing the situation and only after he joins they all start dancing together. Basically ending the rivalry between the clubs and of all 8 of them coming together to having fun as Yeosang is a symbol of peace in this (hence the white doves).
Many of us are the same road to Ateez. Thanks Stray kids brings us Ateez. I love them both. Lol. Sadly Ateez lost kingdom, but they gained a massive fan base after. Their effort has definitely paid off. Salute!
Hongjoong and Mingi are the finest rappers among the 4th gen kpop groups and Jongho is considered as having the most stable and strong vocals in his generation. Their concepts in the MVs and live performances are really dope. Same goes with their choreography. San is very passionate when he dances. Please react to their MAMA 2020 performance. I am Army and also like Ateez a lot. What is more amazing is that some of Ateez members are actually ex-Big Hit trainees and on many occasions they have showed love for the biggest band in the world. I live in Berlin and I am dearly holding to my Ateez concert tickets already for 2 years. A week ago Ateez canceled their concert here, but I am still gonna hope that one day I will see them. So yes, the tickets are gonna stay with me further :)

Yesss! To whomever requested this, you're the BEST! Anthony, I am beyond thrilled that this came your way and that you reacted to it! This song's video fits in with the group's (AY-teez) long-term storyline, but this one in particular is basically: Mingi (gray-haired rapper) arrives at the new school and uses his book [Morals] as his personal guide, which prevents others from stepping to him. He is being "recruited" by the school's different clubs: San and Wooyoung in the baseball club, Hong Joong and Seonghwa in the calligraphy club, and Yunho and Jungho in the motorcycle club. They all talk about what it means to stay humble and kind, and try to live by life's best values. When they all come together to "fight" it out, what they're given in return is the book that is basically the tenets of living a good, sound life. The other member, Yeosang, is the peacemaker. He's been keeping an eye on everyone to make sure that everything goes smoothly, and in the end celebrates the "win." The video quality is intense, I agree. It's so good. And I LOVE that you were able to see some of the strengths of rappers Mingi and Hong Joong (in darker blue, also the group leader) showcased. They form an absolutely outstanding rap line in every song, and they both sing in other songs. I hope you'll have recommendations and time to delve deeper into their videos/discography. I think you'll find they have incredible detail, stories, and wisdom for such a young group (3 years since debut, eldest member is 23 (Seonghwa, who auditioned as a rapper but is an stunning vocalist)). Seeing this live was damn near a religious experience. They added an intro that was insane (with a dance focus for BBTrippin 🖤) but it was just such a mind-blowing experience. The whole show was. I got goosebumps finally being able to hear the intro for Say My Name live after holding onto these tickets for 2+ years. I'll never forget that night and can't wait to see them again.
