Hey man, you're right. When NSYNC first started, Chris and Joey got more solo parts (not so much Lance because he sang bass). But after their first album, it became mostly Justin and JC. By their final album (Girlfriend is actually their final single), it was mostly the Justin show because the record label pushed Justin out front and center. From what I understand, it was basically his launching pad for his solo career. It's a shame because Chris, Joey, and even Lance all have great voices, but most people didn't really get to hear them. If you really want to hear Chris sing lead, check out "I Drive Myself Crazy," and Joey has a really nice part in "I Thought She Knew." I suggest the live concert version of that one. :)
Adding another vote for "Drive Myself Crazy" to complete the saga. Up to you if you want to do JC or Chris' version. (JC's is a bit slower on the rhythm)
The singles from their last Cd “celebrity” really do feature Justin Timberlake more. I think the record company knew at that time and were grooming him to be a solo artist. Also, there’s a remix of this song with Nelly 😉 can’t wait until you react to the live NSYNC performances! I’m sure the “35 and over” club will tell ya what’s good!!
JC was definitely the best singer in the group. Even Justin said so. Unfortunately JC didn’t seem to have the clear lane and support that Justin got, so he obviously didn’t become the solo superstar that JT turned into. Justin’s relationship with Britney also helped.

Actually not true, JC’s songs were more widely used in their albums throughout the years like Selfish, Up Against the Wall, No Strings Attached, It Makes Me Ill, Bring In the Noise, Space Cowboy, etc. Even JC’s song, “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” from their Christmas Album is considered a Christmas Classic like Wham’s and Mariah’s iconic songs today. Some of the songs early in their careers that was credited as “Nsync” were actually written and produced by JC because under Lou Pearlman’s contract he had on them, everything any of them did HAD to be credited as Nsync so that only HE would own the royalties from their name and talent.
JC actually was more interested in going solo as an R&B/ Jazz artist before Nsync when MMC ended. He was told at the time by management how “No one would support a White boy doing R&B”! Ridiculous! Especially when you consider all the popular White male artists out today (who ride off of the talents of very good Black song writers and talented Black Producers) who don’t even have half the talent of JC or sound anywhere near as good as JC! Even when Nsync was still under control of Lou Pearlman, JC made a vocal appearance for Blaque “Bring It All To Me,” but nobody knew it was JUST ONLY JC singing in that Cameo, no one else from Nsync. The Radio stations HAD to credit the song as Nsync and NOT JC because that was how Lou Pearlman was able to not only get paid alone, but pay himself handsomely from the royalties of that song (because he owned the rights to the Nsync name). Giving JC credit would have meant the money went to JC and not Lou….so even from the very beginning the industry leads tried to screw over JC. But, thankfully JC had the true respect from other talented legends who recognize JC’s god given voice for what it is, like how Smokey Featured him on his Album for his Classic remake on “My Girl” that he wrote for the Temptations back in the day. If you haven’t heard it, check it out. It features JC, Smokey himself, Aloe Blacc and Miguel. The song represents ALL the potential JC could have had if he was not only given a true chance but surrounded by ALL equally talented people who could keep up (and No offense to Justin or the rest of them but with how JC could sing circles around any of the other boyband singers, it’s not even fair to pit them against JC).
I'm not sure if you're going to do more live performances or any of the other songs off of the albums that weren't singles, but if this was the end of the *NSYNC reactions, I would definitely recommend you watch the *NSYNC reunion at the VMAs in 2013. It's such a short performance, but that whole performance from JT that night was legendary, and that minute and 40 seconds of *NSYNC that he included put it over the top.
