Well you pretty much covered all my fears on one ride😮. I think you did what you could at the private property. You showed respect walking through and that’s your best effort. Glad you’re safe.
Thanks Chris, I had so much guilt about going through that gate but backtracking wasn't an option. If they held their right to forbid me from trespassing, I would have camped at that fence until the next day and had my wife phone the sheriff to come liaison the situation. there was no way I was getting back the way I came.
I am in the process of buying a 2024 GSA 1250 Rally, I hope the process is done, before the riding season is over.

ya know, I used to do dumber things and have gotten better about turning around. This is one of those moments when I should have turned back but it's a heck of a story pushing a bike nearly a mile through a horse farm just hoping to not get shot.

That's a good idea. I don't know if I have time to compile that data but I do have the GPX files. I had an inReach on me the entire ride.

Hey Adam….you might have covered it somewhere else but you mentioned your tires….which tires are you running?
This day, Anakee Adventures. I moved over to them from the MotoZ Tractionator GPS tires the day before as they were spent after 8,000 miles.
@@AdamChandler86 sounds good…just put the Dunlap Trailmax Mission tires on my GSA…have been surprisingly stable both on and off road!!
Hey adam, what windscreen is that? I can not find your install or review! Looking for one with no buffeting but that I can still see over it! I'm 5"11.
You may not want the one I have at your height. I'm 6'3" with a long torso. This is the VStream Touring Deluxe. The non-deluxe model is 1-2 inches shorter so that might be the ticket. I LOVE this screen. I ran it in the low position the entire trip and it keeps almost all of the wind off me.
