Remleiz: Perhaps there might be a being within the galaxy who might be willing to attempt such an experiment, either out of spite or simple scientific curiosity. Fabius Bile: *cough*
It is possible that the Chaos Gods have taken the small amounts of "good" left in Horus, leaving him completely inhumane and primed (pun unintended) to fight the Emperor. Meaning that, potentially, if those 4 soul shards are recovered and implanted then the resulting being would be heroic and noble.
I adore the idea that Horus giving up parts of his soul to the chaos gods left him weak willed enough to stoop to the gratification that he observed from killing the mystery interdictor. Explains how the man Horus was could be the man Horus would become.
If one of Magnus’ soul shards contained his good side, could there be a similar shard of Horus that contained all that was good about him? This is just my own theory, but in the Audiobook ‘Crusade’, when the Protagonist is on his metaphysical death bed, he’s visited by a being he assumes to be the Emperor, who only replies ‘Once perhaps for my sins’. Who’s to say this was the Emperor - Maybe it was actually Horus’ good soul who’s been fighting against Chaos all this time. Or maybe even the entity known as the God-Emperor was never truly the Emperor, But was really Horus in disguise.
Problem is, the ones to "cut" out the hypotetical four pieces that remain of Horus' soul were the Chaos gods, while the rest was obliterated Big E. What use would the Chaos gods have for Horus' "good side"?
Maybe the 5th Chaos God has the uncorrupted soul shard of Horus? It kinda makes sense, really... the 5th is the embodiment of Chaos' self-destructive nature, so of course It would keep and nurture the one thing that may ultimately defeat Chaos.
Hey, as always great video. I'm not a massive 40k and don't know all the lore but i have one theory too. What if Emperor wanted the stagntation and decay for humanity so he could become a god. First he destroyed all religions so in future only faith that coud exit would be about him. I mean there are a lot of Your wideos that suppor the idea that Emperor has his deamons and probably will become some warp entity. I think that's the case because it's a big hole for me that Cabal could foresee the future but not Emp. I think that he just had different plan that he didn't share with everyone. Also if he wanted his to establish imperiat truth, the best moment for him would be age of strife when humati was at tehnological peak, I guess it would be more convenient to establish faith in progress then. For me explatation is that he tried but it failed, so he created new plan, in which he would create warp god, by convincing all humanity to belive in him. Sorry for bad english.
Maybe the fragments when rejoined will realize the deception and revolt. By keeping them separate Horus is kept unaware of his fate and as such forever in servitude
Ok being new in the lore these are very interesting. So 2 possible outcomes: Magnus may have ties for both grey knight and fan theory favorite blood raven. Abbadon keeps killing clones of Horus as he believes he is the only one who should be the warmaster as he claims as his birthright. Horus got the end of the stick by the Gods because they want him to weaken Emps and discarded like the bones of any stock after countless years in a giant soup pot over high heat. Nice vid tho
It would be the Ultimate LoLz to put them all back together to make a "Good" Mini-Version of Horus that's trying to save the Universe but eternally dis-trusted. Kind of like a Bizzaro version of Guilliman.
The backstory for a homebrew chapter I used to have actually had them being led by a fragment of Horus's soul (though not one of those ones) that would, for lack of a better word, posses one of them.

P.S.Emperor did Oblitarete his Soul For Good,so that He never Get a Chance to come Back 😎 !!!!!
I hope that somewhere, somehow, and some day, Horus can meet his brother Sanguinius and his father The Emperor again, and although it will be very painful for Horus because of the guilt and shame of what he had done, that the Emperor's once favored son can once again reunite with his father and brothers and be at peace. Horus did terrible things. Many many terrible things. But he did them through the deceit and treachery of the Chaos Gods and their servants, and their twisting of Horus' mind and soul. And before all that, Horus had done many great things. He spent many years with his Father and Brothers, and truly loved them and was loved in return. I think he has suffered long enough and that the Emperor will set him free and take him home when the time comes.
Couldn't the shard also create someone or something that was loyal to the Emperor? Depending on who it was merged with? Either way it would be fascinating and if they left the door open it could end up being addressed at some point. Great video, thank you!
I like to think of one of those shards of Horus would have been captured by a loyalist chapter I came up with highly based around the samurai and would employ Miko themed Psykers to keep it in constant torment. As the chapter master would say "The traitor is to be kept in eternal pain and suffering for turning against the Emperor, beloved by all. But even this punishment without end isn't enough for this most heinous of crimes, no punishment can ever be enough."
This means that the human who gave his life for the Emperor and allowed the Emperor to strike the deathblow to Horus, was the one to strike the deathblow the galaxy. Good job, random dude!
You know the more I read and look into it, the traitor primarchs were weak. All of them nearly died if it wasnt for something last min interfering. I mean heck logar almost died multiple times, the most by my guess. Horus at least twice. Angron once or twice. So on and so fourth. As far as I can tell the only one who didnt almost die would be purtorabo.
1. Horus wins = chaos collapses. 2. Emperor wins = chaos conquers all = full entropy eventually chaos diminishes due to all life destroyed. 3. No one wins = emperor is unable to act proper, Horus is stuck in several places caught forever. Chaos exists in a perpetual circle, Chaos wins
2 is wrong dude. If Emps did win then the webway project may be restarted and the chaos forces would be utterly annhilated because the loyal primarchs wouldnt be shattered by Guilliman and the codex astartes.
@@-Big_Big Is that really what would happen? You know those that makes predictions about the future in WH40k are almost always wrong for example the bulk of eldar high echelon supported Horus so that if chaos won it would eventually eat itself to death. But if Emps did won the primarchs wouldnt have to be separated from one another and their legions shattered into chapters. 6 loyalist primarchs were alive after the Heresy then theyargued and bicker in two groups the pro codex astartes and the anti codex astartes. Imagine 6 Space Marine Legions with their Primarch leading them and Emps leading the primarchs. Nothing in the galaxy after the heresy could match an actually Competent Imperium especially Failbaddon the harmless.
@@jamescawl6904 yeah, but because emperor would win the fight and then be able to fight back harder in the galaxy, chaos fights back harder . the more you struggle the more it fights back, all lifes perishes from the battle everything dies.
Nice, I was wondering when you were going to dig into the lore of Slaves to Darkness. My own take on this is that the Emperor destroyed all the soul fragments because otherwise what was the point? I thought it was an act of mercy for Horus so to leave 4 parts of him as toys for the chaos gods seems like the whole thing wasn't really worth it.
I feel like, something... different, is happening to The Emperor. keep in mind that he has been being worshiped by pretty much all Humanity for ten millennium. given that the Emperor has a significant presence in the warp, and the warp is fueled by human emotions and worship. my own personal theory is that the Emperor is slowly becoming a new god. either the Chaos god of Order, or since the existing Chaos God's consider him Anathema, something more akin to the gods of the Eldar but of greater power. we already know the Emperor's power can manifest his own version of Deamons with Saint Celistine, the Sanguinor and the legion of the Damned. I think its entirely possible that the Golden throne isn't keeping the Emperor alive anymore, more tethering him to his mortal form.
i think that, even if these souls return as a singular form, assuming the identity of Horus himself. these souls would still rebel against the emperor. these were soul fragments left behind before he was destroyed at the hands of the emperor, and therefore the knowledge they would bear is the one that horus wanted to stop the grimdark from coming to pass in the imperium. If horus were to return to the imperium as a loyal son, he would be the most loyal, even more so than guiliman and the dauntless few. this horus would have to be the soul that had the chaos driven from him at the end of the heresy but unfortunately, according to the lore, this horus was obliterated. the only way for this to work out is that the emperor in his warp self goes and wrests control of these soul fragments from the dark gods and shows him the result of the actions he undertook 10 millenia ago, to effectively turn him back to being loyal to humanity once more. with regards to a body to possess, fabius bile has the knowledge to create a perfect horus clone, so theoretically, if somehow fabius bile creates a clone and somehow the emperor manages to implant the soul into this body (if the clone was created in the warp and sits there) this horus would be the repentant son. of course, translated into writing would be further than trying to revive sanguinius so this is unlikely to happen.
It's a fair theory. If a being is great enough, like that of an Emperor or Psycher, than it is fair to assume that parts of their souls survive, or even find new hosts. Maybe, even join with others to recreate the original. I think even Custodes, Space Marines, beings like Malcador, can have a soul that bear a mark potent enough to not disappear.

I thought not, it's not a story an Imperial would tell you.
Remleiz: Perhaps there might be a being within the galaxy who might be willing to attempt such an experiment, either out of spite or simple scientific curiosity.

Question (im new to warhammer) what happens if there were xenos that worshipped humans?
Pre-Heresy or Post-Heresy?
@@majormajorasic post-heresy
I may be wrong but didn't a small ork faction worship the emperor as a god of war.
They are executed.
@@randomguy3954 Exterminated, with minimal resistance.
“The warp would one day consume the galaxy.”
*glances towards the Cicatrix Maledictum*
Well shit, that’s not ideal.
Horus vs Mr Bean.
"Horus lube a cow". Gotta love auto generated captions.
The topic this evening is fine, indeed.

As far as we know but perhaps big e did find away to save him not like he could tell the imperium hey the guy that fucked us overs a good guy now
@@j.bat.8235 to torture it
Maybe the 5th Chaos God has the uncorrupted soul shard of Horus?
Most interesting topic.
Horus: " You want a piece of me, boy?"
We're ignoring the possibility of Trazyn getting his hands on one of these fragments. He'd just put it on display.
It would be the Ultimate LoLz to put them all back together to make a "Good" Mini-Version of Horus that's trying to save the Universe but eternally dis-trusted. Kind of like a Bizzaro version of Guilliman.
If the emperor is allowed to finally die and resurrect himself surely the chaos gods will use the soul shards to recreate Horus to fight him again.
Needs a fanfic. This theory is awesome!
What in the name of the warp are the other fragments doing, honestly scared for what slennesh makes him do.
The backstory for a homebrew chapter I used to have actually had them being led by a fragment of Horus's soul (though not one of those ones) that would, for lack of a better word, posses one of them.

The Man who Entered the Ship and Confronted the Horus Was Gavriel Locan ,Former Member of Morneval and Horus Legion ,in That Moment Horus asked him to join him,But He Refused, and killed Before the Emperor, and he was 8 Member who Became the Grey Knight,a Founder of the Organization, Good Work as always. P.S.Emperor did Oblitarete his Soul For Good,so that He never Get a Chance to come Back 😎 !!!!!
Ah, I needed another bed time story...
Oh I almost forgot! You and Leutin09 should do a collab! Probably been said before but that would be one heck of a video!
So is it possible to either take a shard or a fusion of all the shards and create a 'loyal horus?'
I'm sure with enough motivation Bob would do it and go on a two-man black crusade.
I love Warhammer 40k lore and have never played the tabletop game.
Clone Fulgrim can get Fabius to recreate his dead brothers, and all fight for the Emperor again.
Couldn't the shard also create someone or something that was loyal to the Emperor? Depending on who it was merged with? Either way it would be fascinating and if they left the door open it could end up being addressed at some point. Great video, thank you!
God I love the 40k keep up the epic work!!
Im surprised that Horus never ascended to a daemon-prince
Clone body plus all soul fragments could bring him truly back a good one
Also, “I WILL AVENGE YOU JANUSSSS!!”
I wouldn't be surprised if the shards are crammed into Failbaddon's body later on as part of the End Times/Warhammer 41K Storyline.
This was quality mate
WHAT IS THIS HERESY!!! The arch traitor Horus will suffer eternal damnation for his treachery to the IMPERIUM.
Well if he would suffer eternal damnation that would mean his soul is not destroyed :)
This means that the human who gave his life for the Emperor and allowed the Emperor to strike the deathblow to Horus, was the one to strike the deathblow the galaxy. Good job, random dude!
Orlanus Pious joined the fight vs. Horus? Awesome!
This is very interesting thank you so much

zero dislikes one hour in baby, high quality content my dude
You know the more I read and look into it, the traitor primarchs were weak. All of them nearly died if it wasnt for something last min interfering. I mean heck logar almost died multiple times, the most by my guess. Horus at least twice. Angron once or twice. So on and so fourth. As far as I can tell the only one who didnt almost die would be purtorabo.
Great video 40k Theories
For some reason, Gyre's voice reminds me of Gmork from neverending story.
@@jamescawl6904 it was stated that if the emperor had won then chaos would in the end destroy all life in the universe because of the struggle
@@-Big_Big By winning I mean Emps not being maimed by Horus.
As a Sons of Horus fan I would be all for Horus coming back one way or another. Lupercal!!
Sons of Horus gets clap by humans 😂😂😂😂😂😂
So the Emperor did to Horus in an instant, what it is taking thousands of years of torture on the Golden Throne to do to the Emperor?
Damn bob would love to do the unthinkable....
i think that, even if these souls return as a singular form, assuming the identity of Horus himself. these souls would still rebel against the emperor. these were soul fragments left behind before he was destroyed at the hands of the emperor, and therefore the knowledge they would bear is the one that horus wanted to stop the grimdark from coming to pass in the imperium.
I would love to see Horus come back and rip Abadons arms off lol
Fabius wouldn't give a fuck about a new Horus, even if he was offered all he needed. He's dedicated to his New Men.
