Jenudsstuff, I left comments a few days ago. This comment is new but related to iphone lighting to 3.5mm adapter. I bought several adapters online, but they only send audio out from the iphone, and cannot record audio (or cannot pass audio from the sound card) to the iphone. After research, I learned that lighting to 3.5mm adapter comes in different designs. The design that supports microphone input is the type labeled TRRS (Tip Ring Ring Sleeve). You also sing very well.

For people who get crackles, cuts, and/or background noise, this is probably coming from one or more jack connectors. I had these problems caused by the 6.35-3.5 adapter of my microphone, it created false contacts. Very good soundcard!

❤ thank you for sharing this! I just got one and the manual doesn’t really help much directions are worthless if you never used. You did a great 👍 job showing how this works bc of your tutorial I think I’m going to love for certain things I create. It does have Bluetooth show up on phone so I would think you wouldn’t need to plug in if you have a microphone but idk bc haven’t tried yet other than turn on and it says it was connected but I didn’t hear anything however I didn’t have headphones plugged in. Thank you and yeah how does Bluetooth work without of phone? Thank you very helpful video! Appreciate you sharing it thank you
Thank you for this video! Very helpful. Does anyone know how to connect this sound card to a laptop if I want to record from my laptop's camera instead of a phone?
Here is a video for. This is for FB streaming set up however set up is the same for Recording. Just open built camera of your laptop then record. th-cam.com/video/p8qTKfmDY2c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RIf87LdUTsVP7zab
You did a great job here. I might have to buy one of these toys one of these days. Trying to find the most useful one. This one looks great, at least in your hands! Thank you.
the internal play feature. You said if you are streaming on a laptop it has to be blinking. If I am live streaming using my Apple iphone does it also have to be blinking for the audience to hear both my voice and my background music? Also, use a Rode NT1 microphone and it is connected to the condenser port. When I tap on the microphone I can hear the thumping in my Apple ear muffs but when I speak into the microphone I cannot hear my voice.
I'm not sure if this model is the same to all other ones out there. When Internal play is blinking, it means it's currently ON while if it's not blinking means it's OFF. Since your streaming from a phone, it doesn't matter if it's on or off, your audience will still hear the music you are playing. Here is the link for connecting to F998 to Laptop regarding Internal play - time stamp is 11:11 th-cam.com/video/p8qTKfmDY2c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6JrACWHb6gGvYA_U As far as I know connecting a Rode NT1 A to F998 will work properly when an external 48V phantom power is connected.
Everything works fine but the music playing in the headset is very quiet and when I sing I don’t hear the music. Is it a chance to make it louder somehow?
Perhaps you accidentally turn on the Voice Over as it will the volume of your music as you talk. And of course you can turn the backing track volume up as well as the source of the music itself.
Thank you sooo much for this, clear explanation and instruction. I have just purchased this, it arrived today and thanks to you I feel very confident in getting the sound/tone I need. Thanks again! :)
wow! perfect guide! thank you. one quick question though: if i replace the earphones with aux cable and connect it to my amplifier, that'll work, right? (sorry i am super noob) thanks
Hello. Thank you for your great videos. I would like everything the 998 has but I would like another option to save a few custom sound effects. Which card has these functions as well as added custom sound effects option
Thank you for the awesome review. I just received one of these sound cards and microphone to do for a Tiktok shop review, and I did not have many operational details. Your video helped me immensely. Your voice is incredible as well. 💙💙💙
Here is a video for you. th-cam.com/video/T0kAH4dRSTI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=tGHRQb6wirFab0l1 The last option is the best. To connect your laptop for background music, use trs or trrs from headphone port of your laptop to the aux in or accompaniment port of F998. If your laptop has BT you can connect it to F998 wirelessly-just open bt setting from your laptop then pair with f998
Thanks for the great video. All functions excellently explained. I just have a question: If a condenser microphone is connected, are you sure that it is powered by 48V (Phantom power). My microphone has no power light). A condenser microphone will probably work with reduced power. Thank you.
I’m not a pro on it however as per my little research bm800 mic is an electret condenser mic which does not an external 48V phantom power that’s why it works if connected directly to a sound card.
Can you explain a little more regarding lightning adapter? I have an android cellphone. Please tell me which lightning adapter I need to purchase for my android cellphone. Thank you so much for your help.
Lightning adapter is for iPhone while usb c adapter is for android. First you have to check the description of the adapter to see if it’s compatible to your device. I also bought my usb c adapter from the Apple Store and it works for Recording/Streaming.
Very detailed, I liked your video. I need help activating the internal playback of the sound card so that the cell phone that is recording can capture your voice on the microphone with the effects of the table and the background music coming out of the notebook? I am recording a video on my cell phone, but when I go to watch the video, the voice from the microphone and the effects of the table did not come out, and the background music did not come out either. What could it be?
First make sure everything are plugged in properly. Check if the RECORD volume is on high. If yes, but still no audio on your recording/ streaming, most likely it’s the phone adapter issue as some adapters like the ones I bought from other store you can only hear all effects but will not work for Recording/Streaming. I bought my lightning and usb c adapter from the Apple Store and that’s what I’m using for my videos. If you can’t buy from Apple Store try adapter which supports calling coz someone commented before that’s the other option. If you’re using android here are ways to connect to F998 th-cam.com/video/T0kAH4dRSTI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=EdWXe0F8m_YoZ2YG
I have one but I can't get my sounds to work when I'm doing my show!! Which is basically what I purchased it for.. Other than the cool Mic that came with it!!
Yes you but there is only 1 volume control. I don't recommend using dynamic and condenser as they are not even. You could use 2 condenser or 2 dynamic mic. Here is the video for you th-cam.com/video/WF8gk1_p0Ro/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fPCsbqFMc-vYAgB3
Hi Jenuds thanks alot for the video, I set it up just how you explained it, I can hear myself (monitor with the headset) with all the effects but that does not reflect in the recorded video (from my iphone camera just like you did) seem like what is recorded is from the direct microphone of my iphone not from the condensor mic and none of the effect goes to the recorded video I do not know if what I just said make sense. Any idea why ?
Most likely it’s because you’re using the wrong adapter which is only as headphone adapter but won’t work for Recording or Streaming like the adapter I bought from Amazon. Hopefully you can buy adapter from the Apple store as that’s what I’m using on my videos. I have a feeling that it will solve your issue.
Really cool! So i can use this when i do IRL streams via my mobile? And use this sound effects? Is that correct? I have been thinking of maybe buy this. To easy use fun sounds easy if someone for example start to follow my channel, or give donations. Because i often do livestreams from my truck when i work.
Yes you can but please note you need the right adapter to your device and preloaded sound effects on this kind of sound card are fixed which you can’t edit or add new ones
@@jenudsthank you for quick answer. Yes i understand that i need some adapter for my mobile. I have an samsung with usb-c and no 3,5mm input on the phone. I think maybe i already have an adapter/splitter because i have been using røde wireless mic on my IRL streams via the mobile.
My current favourites are Maonocaster E2 and Synido Live 100. They both have lots of features. Please watch my review on both before you buy for you to decide. Good luck

Thank you and yeah how does Bluetooth work without of phone? Thank you very helpful video! Appreciate you sharing it thank you
Thanks for watching. The Bluetooth is if you will connect music to the sound card wirelessly via Bluetooth.
Great review. I just bought one
Thank you
Excellent review and very clear and useful instruction in the use of the F998. Thank you.
My pleasure
Really appreciate your effort to let us know how to set and use it😊❤
My pleasure 😊
Thank you for this video! Very helpful. Does anyone know how to connect this sound card to a laptop if I want to record from my laptop's camera instead of a phone?
Here is a video for. This is for FB streaming set up however set up is the same for Recording. Just open built camera of your laptop then record. th-cam.com/video/p8qTKfmDY2c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=RIf87LdUTsVP7zab
You did a great job here. I might have to buy one of these toys one of these days. Trying to find the most useful one. This one looks great, at least in your hands! Thank you.
I know that’s a lot to choose from. Good luck
You do a very informative review. I am very happy that I found your channel
Thank you 😊
the internal play feature.
Here is the link for connecting to F998 to Laptop regarding Internal play - time stamp is 11:11 th-cam.com/video/p8qTKfmDY2c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=6JrACWHb6gGvYA_U
As far as I know connecting a Rode NT1 A to F998 will work properly when an external 48V phantom power is connected.
Can this be hooked up to speakers
Yes you can connect from the earphone port of the sound card to your amplifier or speaker
Thank u!
Welcome
Everything works fine but the music playing in the headset is very quiet and when I sing I don’t hear the music. Is it a chance to make it louder somehow?
Perhaps you accidentally turn on the Voice Over as it will the volume of your music as you talk. And of course you can turn the backing track volume up as well as the source of the music itself.
Thank you sooo much for this, clear explanation and instruction. I have just purchased this, it arrived today and thanks to you I feel very confident in getting the sound/tone I need. Thanks again! :)
I’m glad to share.
wow! perfect guide! thank you. one quick question though: if i replace the earphones with aux cable and connect it to my amplifier, that'll work, right? (sorry i am super noob) thanks
Right. From the earphone port to your amplifier should work.
Excellent presentation. Beautiful voice. Great instructor and singer. Thank you
Thanks for the compliment.
Hello. Thank you for your great videos. I would like everything the 998 has but I would like another option to save a few custom sound effects. Which card has these functions as well as added custom sound effects option
Most of Maonocaster you can add custom sound effects. Also Synido Live 100, A2, & K1.
Pls SX91 Sound mixer rewiev. ❤
Thank you for the awesome review. I just received one of these sound cards and microphone to do for a Tiktok shop review, and I did not have many operational details. Your video helped me immensely. Your voice is incredible as well. 💙💙💙
I’m glad it helped
Awesome review and you have a lovely voice as well ❤
Thank you 🙏
Could you do Video. F998 connect laptop.. And live streaming on you Android Phone
Here is a video for you.

The last option is the best. To connect your laptop for background music, use trs or trrs from headphone port of your laptop to the aux in or accompaniment port of F998. If your laptop has BT you can connect it to F998 wirelessly-just open bt setting from your laptop then pair with f998
1:18 thanks for sharing. I'm planning to buy but how bout using wireless microphone is it compatible to f998 sound card?
I have not tried it yet coz I have not yet purchased an adapter for my xlr wireless mic adapter.
@@jenuds keep me posted thanks a lot
Thank you so much now I know how to set up for making a cover song..God bless
Have fun😊
Oh my days - I love you - You are amazing. Thank you so much!!!
You’re most welcome
Here is other option to connect your Android to F998 in this video link th-cam.com/video/T0kAH4dRSTI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Q2kL4pXg3AeWzLDh
I love your videos it helps that you explain everything so clearly thank you and great voice
Thanks for the compliment
I have one but I can't get my sounds to work when I'm doing my show!! Which is basically what I purchased it for.. Other than the cool Mic that came with it!!
Great job, i would like to know if i can use this one for live streaming and calls like the sk300
There should be a way but you will need another device to receive or call someone.
@@jenuds Thank you, i got the SK300 and i love it. I will definitely try this one too
Nice explanation 😊 i had one and i searched and found your video!❤
Thank you
Real great explanation 👏 I have a question: is it possible to connect more than 1 mic to record 2 speaking persons every one from his own mic?
Yes you but there is only 1 volume control. I don't recommend using dynamic and condenser as they are not even. You could use 2 condenser or 2 dynamic mic. Here is the video for you th-cam.com/video/WF8gk1_p0Ro/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fPCsbqFMc-vYAgB3
❤ Thank you!!! VERY helpful. My sister bought this thing for me as a birthday gift. The instruction manual is worthless. Thank you for helping me. ❤
I’m glad it helped.😊😇
Thank you very much you have saved me hours of trying to figure it out
I’m glad to share
I just bought one of these from temu these instructions are useless thanks ma'am for explaining I have this same one trying to record sounds 😊😊
I’m glad to share 😊
What would you suggest is the best option for a home based podcast? Your favorite soundcard/mixer
My current favourites are Maonocaster E2 and Synido Live 100. They both have lots of features. Please watch my review on both before you buy for you to decide. Good luck
