It seems it did everything except the last step and didn't copy from my other device. Now it says the account is already added, but says "not signed in" but won't bring up a Google sign in anymore. I restarted the device, changed nothing and it worked. Very weird. But salute man, your video was the only one or of 50 that worked. Plus no one has these old phones anymore, I decided to use this one to take pictures at job sites, but what a headache. Now androids are becoming more like iphones (headache wise).
You are awesome I have been working on my phone for a year and a half. I did the by pass on Google but I found you and followed along with you and everything works just like it did when it was new. Thank you very much 🤗🤩😘

For some reason I never have luck with this stuff whenever I click on the settings and go to about I don’t have the option for a Google privacy policy I don’t have any options at all

It does not work. At min 30:10 the settings of TH-cam app 'About' menu does not have 'Google privacy policy', but only 'Help' and 'send feed back. Cannot continue from this point on. The phone is exact model and Android built as shown in video. Any suggestions?

when doing this and I get to TH-cam where I would be going to notifications it wants me to update TH-cam. There's no way around it. but then it wants me to sign into Google which obviously I cannot do. so I'm stuck.

Ok here's my problem I went a far as I could go .When I got to TH-cam At the App settings it said UPDATE I CLICK ON IT AND. It went to the beginning to add email again .🙄Can someone HELP PLEASE!! PLEASE ! I CAN'T GET ANY FURTHER😵 what can I do ! ? There is not a "Not now"or "cancel"button?? What do I do please
So I'm trying to copy accounts but I do not have the option to... So I went back to regular settings and made a Bluetooth pair with both phones and tried again and still no option. I get to the setup screen where the phones are linked and I'm making sure the symbols both match and they do so I hit next and it tells me to confirm my screen lock( on my already unlocked phone) but the phone I'm trying to bypass tells me "something went wrong?" And gives me the option to try again or skip? And if I skip it I end up at the beginning of the search for setup device.... Idk I'm trying to turn off my screen lock pattern but its not allowing me the option to not have one....? But it seems that the screen lock confirmation that arises causes the phones to disconnect..

i dont know what to do when i get to the media fire part. u go to the downloads section in the chrome but my phone which is a zte z982 doesnt seem to have the option of choosing downloads .its not under the history section for sum reason

Have you changed the downloads? When I get to Google & Type in bit.ly... it looks exactly the same but after I download it, it says the file can’t be opened. Can you help?
I don’t really get where is the problem. You could also download these files on a computer and copy it to SD card and insert SD card in phone, go to file manager and install manually

Im still on the 2017 security patch and it doesn't ask me to sign in so when u try to set the phone up it says that i cant sign in and keeps go back

I'm having same problem I kept on going back and try again but it still won't connect
Go back and make a bluetooth pair on both the devices. Then again open Google Settings App Launcher and try copying account now...

It says google play setting my be corrupt
this means APK wasn't downloaded... It was corrupted during download.

This worked for me all the way up until copying data to the phone, there was an error connecting to the phone. I don't know what went wrong :/
I've been getting this same error. Tried multiple devices and still get said error.
Go back in Settings and make a bluetooth pair, then setup my device again and this time it will work more faster

Have you changed the downloads? When I get to Google & Type in bit.ly... it looks exactly the same but after I download it, it says the file can’t be opened. Can you help?

I don’t really get where is the problem. You could also download these files on a computer and copy it to SD card and insert SD card in phone, go to file manager and install manually
