I really like that Greg is using the same laid back vocal style he was using on New Light. It's very relaxing.
The guitar at the end is sooo sick

you know after more listening, im starting to change my mind about nothing on here being 10/10s, cause swing set is without a doubt a 10 and this is getting there too. The outro on this song is truly something else

I'm well aware that this is a live session from the album however what I was saying is that I hope this is like new light in that the songs are very different then the album itself

The riff in the outro is straight from Trail of Dead's "Source Tags & Codes"! Not complaining. Good to see them abandoning the train wreck that was their last record and going back to a Pneuma-esque sound!

Anyone know what pedals they used for this? I know they all use DL4s, but they gotta have some reverb and distortion. I'd just be curious which ones. One sounds like a tube screamer. Fuck I miss them. Please write new stuff and come back.

Really hoping these songs sound different on the release then here don't get me wrong they sound great here but I feel like we are missing out on Greg's great vocal range

This sounds great but I feel like its lacking something to truly make it special, nothing wrong here and its definitely around a high 8 or a low 9/10 so far but it just lacks that special something to make it a 10/10. Maybe its the lack of the beautiful violin and cello iv started to associate with this band, hopefully the remaining 5 songs we will hear the return of that but i doubt this album will have any 8105s or tired tigers
Though i must mention this is the best song on the album so far
