@MrFarquar any word on ifs its PC and console? Looks like a small rural Wisconsin farm and it would be the perfect u.s. map for me to actually start and play
@@ericgallenberger7094 I have a live stream with Lancyboi that covers a lot of the questions asked in the comments of less detailed Map tours that came after, That's why we did it, go check it out 😉
I like this map, plenty of room to drive around, no narrow narrow narrow lanes that only the smallest of tractor can get through, sheds that you can actually use to store your equipment in, unlike that unplayable abomination of a map Purbeck. Sell and drop points that can be driven into without having to drive back and forth to get into. This is a quality map!

This very much reminds me of the mountainous rural areas that i grew up in on the west coast of the USA. never lived there, but it very much reminds me of Bend Oregon, or maybe northern Idaho. I grew up in the Sierran Navada mountains in Northern California and this also very much reminds me of that except that all theses arable fields would be cattle. Lancyboi did a very good job capturing the feel of rural American i a way i haven't seen done on FS before
American Falls is a medium farming city in southeastern Idaho. As it’s in the Snake River plain, this map has far too many trees for the real community.
@@vandalhooch9773 I can see that. I've never made it to that part of Idaho, but my half-brother has family in Wyoming just on the other side of the Idaho border and I've seen tons of pictures. It's beautiful over there. Even with the inconsistencies though, it's good to see western rural America given a chance to come to life in FS
Next time you do a map tour, can you try covering these things: 1) can you place landscaping trees? 2) what’s the different painting textures? 3) can you buy the roads, lakes, misc lands? 4) can you sell/remove farm buildings and other objects? 5) how many animals can be managed in each of the in-game animal pens? 6) average cost of plots?
@@FlipCanon23 I'm not sure what you want me to explain. I normally watch MrSealyP for map reviews - he gets into the detail of the map (though for console, not PC) which is much more informative.

I like this map although it is in need of some finishing touches. Most of the water does not register that its even there. There are also quite a few areas where the fences go past where they should and there isnt a post. One of these are on the plot with the cow shed. The double gates that open is impeded by one of these fences. This is just what Ive noticed so far.
Wow, nice map from Lancyboi. Lots going on and big enough to play more than once with different scenarios each time. I'll be having a good look at this one. Thanks Daggerwin and thanks Lancyboi. Respect.
Haha grids! Yeah, man, you should come to the US and visit the mid-west! Everything is grid pattern, literally, straight roads laid out in squares. A lot different than your neck of the woods for sure with your tight lanes and walls and hedges.
The sign on the bridges means no trucks. As in Tractor trailers ( Semi-trucks, Lorries). It denotes a weight limit for the bridge. So if you did play this map you may not want to cross that bridge or it may collapse.
Some map butcher probably has a convert and hiding it in their discord. Like all the Oxygendavid maps that he didn't want to convert over and didn't want people converting.

@@West30066 Thanks for the reply, have been thinking about using a steering wheel myself as I have only used the one I have for racing games. I will try it, thanks again.😃
This really feels like a small farm town in the middle of the Canadian prairies. The only major difference is that there doesn't tend to be that much farm land in and around town. Instead, the town is mostly a place for school, groceries, gas, and non-farming households, while the farmers all live on one of the many quarter sections (160 acres) that they own. Typically they would have started with a single quarter (their "home quarter") which they would have built up themselves from the wild landscape (like that map No Man's Land), and as their business thrived, they would buy up more quarters nearby. If you were to drive around the prairies, you mostly just see endless quarter sections of ploughed fields split by gravel roads. Some quarters would have a house and a few sheds surrounded by trees planted as a wind break, but most would just be large square fields.
I think the next game they should start incorporating natural, disasters, like flooding, tornadoes, bad storms, I think they would make interesting gameplay even drought
I still don't understand why you can look it down one or two trees and then you can't cut down any of them. If anyone's had that problem I think it's going to strange
