Welcome to Big Flats, Texas! This is a fictional map based off locations around Greenville, Texas Map - www.farming-simulator.com/mod... Music by Epidemic Sound
It is so nice to see you be able to drive around without worrying about how narrow a lane or a gate is. The other series are great, but as a 'murican this sings to me.
Was literally thinking that I’d love a massive scale American series with loads of big machines and lots of workers going simultaneously. Looking forward to this one.
A few tips. 1. For dedicated auger wagon setups, don't bother with twin tires or whatever. In fact, I'd recommend smallest engine you can use for the wagon in combination with the narrow tire setups as the tractor will mostly just be sitting and working the auger wagon. 2. Don't sell your initial harvesters. Use them to harvest whatever is immediately available and then decide after you've harvested if you want to stick with that or sell it and get a better one. 3. If you're running single field setups, don't get triple hopper trailers. Go for the lode king single as it'll save you trips across the map and hauls quite a bit of goods. 4. Set your harvesters to swath drops. Later on you can get a square bailer and collect the straw to work your animals or just sell outright and increase your per-field profit. When you first start out, it's understandable why you wouldn't care, but getting in the habit of just immediately setting your harvesters to drop swath is a good reflex to build. 5. Stop turning right after you leave the vehicle shop. ;)
I love watching the big scale farming as a different pace, this is the type of farming I find myself doing on fs22 frequently when i get bored on my usual No mans Land map
Hey Daggerwin, not directly related to this video but wanted to say thank you for the farming simulator content. I used to be in the navy here in the U.S. on submarines years ago now and I would download your entire Playlists to watch before bed for months at a time and on repeat lol. I forget when I started, but I've been finding myself watching your content more and more again. Between your general content and time-lapses they're still great. I was wondering as your pretty much the only reason/person I watch FS content for, if you've thought of doing/if there exists another explorative map, where there may be some collectibles hidden across the map, maybe going for possibly a more diversified setup various types of harvests/productions, I know you always try to but I found it in your earlier videos when you diversified it was more purpose or land based than just to do it. Idk how everyone feels but I'm one who doesn't mind two field harvest episodes back to back as long as they're progressing you towards your goals on the map. Maybe starting with specific challenges like buying the in map production that does well, or maybe starting a buy the town challenge so you play more the land lord and attempt to buy all the fields and productions while taking 1 of the plots to "build a homestead". I know im just spit balling ideas at this point. I don't mean to sound unappreciative of your content. I think it's awesome as is, just figured why not and to send some good vibes your way you've gotten me through many a would be sleepless night, and many an insomniacs evening. Thanks for the great videos and I hope you can keep them going for years to come.
The Timelapse as Daggerwin is clearly afk😂 so relatable to me. Daggerwin: buys unrealistic modded combine Also Daggerwin: proceeds to use unrealistic modded combine realistically 😂😂😂😂 definitely one of my favorite series as I am American and I love the big equipment and big fields and wide open spaces
absolute Joy watching this. The Key Daggerwin is always keeping Workers going while you are doing things. If you are harvesting have a worker already drilling behind you....Run 2 workers harvesting and you cart etc...Have fun with it ")
The seed hawk would be a great direct drill to see on this map! And maybe a big high density bailer for all that straw! Great content as always keep it up man!
What a nice change of pace this map is! Also glad to see the Colossus mod getting some love, it really is a great harvester if you ignore the unrealistic options. May I suggest checking out the Estrella 32 for your direct drill? Perfect for these big fields I would think.
Lizard Colossus harvesters are a hoot in max unreal mode. Workers can't brake fast enough and they run right off the fields. Looking forward to this series!
I grew up on a farm in Southwestern Minnesota, USA and this map looks nearly identical to the area that I grew up in. This is amazing. I love this map already.
about to say because this doesn't really feel like texas that much. it feel's way to open. and this is coming from a texan. we dont really have that manly field's that are that huge. i've seen some pretty big field's but not that big. 😂
Thank you for finally featuring Versatile equipment. They were the first to mass produce articulated 4wd tractors and they did so in Winnipeg, MB Canada. I love looking in all the farmer's fields as I drive by in AB and spotting one of the old tractors still in use.
This looks to be a very cool series!! A little trivia for you, Daggerwin, IRL, you would likely be fined and / or arrested for police beacons on fark equipment depending on ho3 you were using them. The police are not very fond of anyone using their lights except for them. I know it's just a game, so it does not matter at all, just a little tidbit of US law. You do some really great series, sir! Thanks for the entertainment. If you decide to go with animals at all, cattle would be very texas 😉
Not sure if it was mentioned or not as I didn’t see it but, when you’re down at BF Grains, the terminals there are numbered 01 and 02……I say this because you need to pay attention to that for when you do contracts Dagger. They are also only numbered on the one side when you drive in, which was the way you were entering in the video. I just recently started playing this map and noticed that myself
Hello Daggerwin, I'm an American OTR truck driver, and I've been all over. I'm not convinced this is anywhere in Texas. Most of the flats are more arid. My first thought is closer to the North near Oklahoma, but with it being flat, there would be more water features, naturally. Also, that farm dealer wouldn't be making any money since he's barely visible from the highway. Odd map but I'm enjoying seeing the big equipment!
Well. this map sure doesn't look like the area around San Antonio, Texas. Daggerwin, CoursePlay has the "Lans" option where the chaser bin never needs to drive into the crop. Also, the combine, will cut in to make room for the auger bin on first pass. Add's a whole new dimension to the game. Still loved it though. Going to enjoy this mini series. Thanks Mate.
welcome to Texas!!! this map is based more NE, closer to the border with Oklahoma. Fun fact, the word Texas is derived from the word tejas - friendship. This area has operating farms that have been there since then original land grants were issued in the early 1800s
This is so cool! It hurts a little bit to see you NOT use cruise control when driving next to the combine. Next to your multiplayer run with chainsaw i am for sure watching all these episodes
Fun different series! One suggestion tho, i feel like this map might be to big to do solo if you are not using courseplay. Multiplayer with the patreons / channel members might make more sense for example because keeping on top of carting when you have multiple combines going in different fields is going to be very hard.
Glad you are wowed by my suggestion for the collosus harvester pack. They recently did a 1mil liter update to it trust me harvesting field three you need the capacity or you are basically babysitting the worker. Also at the sell point you used both sell points are there. They have a number on the ground in front of then marking which sell point is which
I think this would be a great new series, the North American tour. A spin off of your European series with maps in Canada, the US and Mexico if they make any
Definitely going to want some bigger trailers for this map haha. SuperB or the A-Train, or there are some good trailers n ModHub that go up to 150kL which you can pair with one of the amazing 1000HP tractor units. The trailers you picked can't unload in tandem because to FS it's "one trailer" so I prefer ones with a single "inventory per trailer," e.g. on the SuperB setup you can unload both at once since the game sees them as different trailers, or the big 150kL tipper I use in my game is just one big container.
Good choice of map! I kinda wish you'd play it a bit more realistically tho. like crop destruction on and baling straw. If you don't wanna bale, just plant corn instead? it doesn't get more 'murican than that :)
This series could be great fun - but please Daggerwin, get the cheque-book out and start hiring some workers. They're great on a map like this and can really help you get loads of work done while you can be doing other things. Loads of machines working all at the same time is amazing on these types of maps
SpaceX is near my hometown but giant rectangle plots of nearly flat land with straight roads is very common in south and central texas as well. This map is pretty realistic. Also hilariously, I have seen at least two farm and truck equipment shops with "Lonestar" in the name.
those trailers are called hopper bottom trailers in the us they have a smaller capacity than the red trailer because the inside walls are sloped so everything slides out
i will just say as a texan this map seems pretty big for it to be texas. even though texas is a pretty big state we dont really have field's this big as much as we have small to mid size hay/alfalfa field's and maybe some corn. at lest around in north texas were i live. but it really feel's more like up north close to were canada is. is what it remind's me of. other then that great video daggerwin. 😂
Love your videos. I watch them nearly on a daily basis. I would love to see a series where you start with something survival like (just a tractor and a chainsaw or sth like that) and work your way up to sth like this
He has 100 episode series on calm lands starting with a Chainsaw and small tractor... He said that a new survival challenge will start early next year .. .
"Watch videos daily", but won't go back into the library to see if it's already been done (or in this case currently being made)? Huh. It really is sth
Been playing this map for awhile. 3 mods I would suggest downloading is the John deere C850 Air Cart and Drill, the steiger IV KP-525, and the Lizard Durus 60 foot header.
"We got the Texas flag on...well...pretty much every building".
Yep, that's Texas for sure. Also, enjoy your one AM radio station :)
I wouldn't mind seeing this as a regular series. It's different. 👍
like the Midwest like Iowa or Nebraska?
Yes that would be awesome
It is so nice to see you be able to drive around without worrying about how narrow a lane or a gate is. The other series are great, but as a 'murican this sings to me.
Exactly lol, go big or go home 👍👌🤣
I really like the o-crap moment when you realized you were harvesting more in one field than you did on all of perbeck. This is going to be great!😂
LORRY?! Boy howdy! We call them things TRUCKS round these parts!
Was literally thinking that I’d love a massive scale American series with loads of big machines and lots of workers going simultaneously. Looking forward to this one.
Good practice for endgame on competitive multiplayer too
POUNDS?! This is ‘merica! We use DOLLARS here, son!
Seriously, though, it’s fun to see you go so big with your equipment. In America it’s “go big, or go home!”
Rather have pounds than your cough cough.....(******)
There are a lot of collectibles on top of the lights surrounding the vehicle shop. And a few around the buildings on your farm
A few tips.
1. For dedicated auger wagon setups, don't bother with twin tires or whatever. In fact, I'd recommend smallest engine you can use for the wagon in combination with the narrow tire setups as the tractor will mostly just be sitting and working the auger wagon.

5. Stop turning right after you leave the vehicle shop. ;)
Lmfao. I was screaming at him the first 5 times he did it.
What's the definition of insanity? 🤣
Finally one in Texas! I’ve lived here my whole life.. looking forward to more episodes!!
As a native Texan, I am very happy to see this little piece of home brought to the screen on this channel.
I love watching the big scale farming as a different pace, this is the type of farming I find myself doing on fs22 frequently when i get bored on my usual No mans Land map

Love it! I’m really looking forward to following this series.

definitely one of my favorite series as I am American and I love the big equipment and big fields and wide open spaces
I've been excited for this new short series!
I love your videos daggerwin keep up the brilliant work
Liking the change of pace here, looking forward to this series!
absolute Joy watching this. The Key Daggerwin is always keeping Workers going while you are doing things. If you are harvesting have a worker already drilling behind you....Run 2 workers harvesting and you cart etc...Have fun with it ")
"We've got a Texas flag on pretty much every building". Yeah that sounds like Texas 😂
This is something different! cant wait to see how it goes thanks for the videos daggerwin :)
Love that you are doing an American map! And you seem to have a pretty good idea how they do things and the equipment they use in America. Love it! 🙌🏻
Loved this episode, keep more coming!
I'm still looking forward to a series on Castlanaud! It is such a great and cozy map! Keep up the good work Daggerwin
Sure is nice to see you finally using some big boy toys! Everythings bigger in Texas!
Loving it already!
Great video. Excited about this series.
The seed hawk would be a great direct drill to see on this map! And maybe a big high density bailer for all that straw! Great content as always keep it up man!
Or the John Deere air cart
love it mate love watching your videos while i play farm sim
This is so great love it couldn’t stop watching amazing episode
so happy to see you do a lets play with versatile. good looking paint and very under used.
I have been waiting for this series for a while!
oh i like this Dag. keep it up!
What a nice change of pace this map is!
Also glad to see the Colossus mod getting some love, it really is a great harvester if you ignore the unrealistic options.
May I suggest checking out the Estrella 32 for your direct drill? Perfect for these big fields I would think.
Love how you are going with the American theme and the map looks good as well.
Love this series! Iv been considering this map to play on for a little while and this has made me get it! Hopefully you can take this on a journey 🤞
Lizard Colossus harvesters are a hoot in max unreal mode. Workers can't brake fast enough and they run right off the fields. Looking forward to this series!
It’s not the speed that gets ya, it’s the stppping part
Try and use the bourgualt air seeders to seed the fields. They are pretty big and the versatile has the power to run them 😊
You really went crazy buying all that machinery 😂.Great video as always. The only FS22 creator i watch.
love seeing you play American maps!
Awesome! 😮
good choice. excited for this series.
Never thought about this. But we needed this
I grew up on a farm in Southwestern Minnesota, USA and this map looks nearly identical to the area that I grew up in. This is amazing. I love this map already.
about to say because this doesn't really feel like texas that much. it feel's way to open. and this is coming from a texan. we dont really have that manly field's that are that huge. i've seen some pretty big field's but not that big. 😂

Or four more red and yellows for parts
Great start to your new series Daggerwin, any chance you could change the colour of the chaser bin to red to match the tractors tho?
It's a great change to watch this. I know you like your euro based maps I do too but something different is always interesting to watch.
Ya USA! Thanks for the videos!👍🏻 and use the big bud to drill with!
North or northeast Texas. This is the area i live in and whoever made the map did an amazing job.
Can't wait to see more episodes
This map Looks exactly like the I-20 corridor between Abilene and Dallas. But most of texas west of Hwy 35 looks like this.
Just getting into the game, sadly on Xbox but just found your channel and loving the videos and info!
Nice to see you branching out into other countries and look forward to seeing more from your channel
Alright alright, I've been convinced to get the game. Thanks Daggerwin!
Dag role playing as FarmerCop today 😂
Use workers to run the lorries and set them on looping.
Looking forward to this series. 😊
Defo need to see the Versatile 'Big Roy' in this series!
Daggerwin you left crop in the field up by the house.
Not sure if it was mentioned or not as I didn’t see it but, when you’re down at BF Grains, the terminals there are numbered 01 and 02……I say this because you need to pay attention to that for when you do contracts Dagger. WoW !! Great to see you on U.S. map😮
To be fair, anywhere in the US except the Midwest and seeing fields that big…We’re like wow too 😂
Really good map to do cotton!!! Havent seen you do much cotton harvesting lately
growing cotton, in a southern state...that's racist!
Hello Daggerwin, I'm an American OTR truck driver, and I've been all over. I'm not convinced this is anywhere in Texas. Most of the flats are more arid. Please do 100+ episodes of this map. I'd love to see what you can do with it.
Well not 100 but at least 30 episodes are must... 10 episode is just 😢
Well. this map sure doesn't look like the area around San Antonio, Texas. Daggerwin, CoursePlay has the "Lans" option where the chaser bin never needs to drive into the crop. welcome to Texas!!! this map is based more NE, closer to the border with Oklahoma. Fun fact, the word Texas is derived from the word tejas - friendship. This area has operating farms that have been there since then original land grants were issued in the early 1800s
it would be the panhandle on the NW side of the state from the Lubbock area
This is so cool! It hurts a little bit to see you NOT use cruise control when driving next to the combine.
Next to your multiplayer run with chainsaw i am for sure watching all these episodes
I think courseplay would be a great thing on this series, like in this case for the trucks to go to the sellpoint.
Can you Get couseplay to do that? I use Autodrive for transport and courseplay for fieldwork. Both would be Nice in this series
Fun different series! One suggestion tho, i feel like this map might be to big to do solo if you are not using courseplay. Multiplayer with the patreons / channel members might make more sense for example because keeping on top of carting when you have multiple combines going in different fields is going to be very hard.
It would be great to see the big Honey Bee header on the Colossus harvetser, harvest would be really fast with that
This reminds me a lot of the Australian map u did on fs17 lol
Glad you are wowed by my suggestion for the collosus harvester pack. They recently did a 1mil liter update to it trust me harvesting field three you need the capacity or you are basically babysitting the worker. Also at the sell point you used both sell points are there. They have a number on the ground in front of then marking which sell point is which
Daggerwin is never one to notice or sweat the details...three right turns out of the dealership for example.
I think this would be a great new series, the North American tour. A spin off of your European series with maps in Canada, the US and Mexico if they make any
Love this idea!
nice bro

Seems like the perfect series for the follow me mod.
seeing he normally plays those tiny Brit style maps I can see why he doesn't use that mod, but I agree, I cant play without it.
Love your videos from Sri Lanka
_HELL YEA BROTHER_
Best series ever!!! Although you went afk and forgot to edit it out
Good choice of map! I kinda wish you'd play it a bit more realistically tho. like crop destruction on and baling straw. If you don't wanna bale, just plant corn instead? it doesn't get more 'murican than that :)
Using the big buds would be sick to see on this map
So funny to see you go from a yard so small you can barely get in and out of it, to this. Lol
This series could be great fun - but please Daggerwin, get the cheque-book out and start hiring some workers. They're great on a map like this and can really help you get loads of work done while you can be doing other things. Loads of machines working all at the same time is amazing on these types of maps
I have over 80hrs on this map and I love it!
yee haw
Best map ever!!!!
SpaceX is near my hometown but giant rectangle plots of nearly flat land with straight roads is very common in south and central texas as well. This map is pretty realistic.
Also hilariously, I have seen at least two farm and truck equipment shops with "Lonestar" in the name.
those trailers are called hopper bottom trailers in the us they have a smaller capacity than the red trailer because the inside walls are sloped so everything slides out
I love this map. I’m playing on it for a bit now I’ve bought field 9 as well. I got 300,000 liters of soybean off it first harvest it’s insane. Lol
On these fields you should have a 18m header (should have been standard with the colossus). there are a couple of them on modhub.
I think this series needs the Big Bud!
This is the type of map I prefer.
Texas has huge fields both in the Panhandle and along the Gulf Coast.
Don't forget west Texas. They don't grow anything, but they're huge, lol
i will just say as a texan this map seems pretty big for it to be texas. even though texas is a pretty big state we dont really have field's this big as much as we have small to mid size hay/alfalfa field's and maybe some corn. at lest around in north texas were i live. but it really feel's more like up north close to were canada is. is what it remind's me of. other then that great video daggerwin. 😂
Love your videos. I watch them nearly on a daily basis. I would love to see a series where you start with something survival like (just a tractor and a chainsaw or sth like that) and work your way up to sth like this

"Watch videos daily", but won't go back into the library to see if it's already been done (or in this case currently being made)?
Huh. It really is sth
I propose a mini series with all lizard equipment.
everything's BIG in Texas
Thanks for the nod to your American viewers by doing an American map.
Been playing this map for awhile. 3 mods I would suggest downloading is the John deere C850 Air Cart and Drill, the steiger IV KP-525, and the Lizard Durus 60 foot header.
