it's still used by the catholic church also dead language doesnt mean you cant speak it normally if you know it well enough, just remember theres more to a language than translating word for word, thats why most schools fail to teach latin properly

Wieso denn? Latein diente bis mindestens ins 18., teilweise bis ins 19., in Ausnahmefällen sogar 20. Jahrhundert hinein als internationale Verkehrssprache. Warum sollte man sie heute nicht mehr benutzen können?
