Wow, such an old vid! Thank you for reacting to EXO! The one with the vocal riffs and runs at the start, that's D.O., one of the main vocalists. That's his speciality. They were 20 years old at the time. All of them have improved so much. All 4 here were main vocalists. The one with the red bandana hanging by his pocket, Luhan, left the group in 2014. This was one year after their debut. These 4 here are Baekhyun, D.O. Chen and Luhan. You might be confused about the number of members if you watch their vids between 2012 - 2015. They debut with 12 members, but in 2014 - 2015, 3 Chinese members left the group for various reasons. So after that, they're left with 9 members. From 2018, Lay, the only Chinese member, could not perform with EXO due to political issues between S. Korea and China. So you will see only 8 members from thereon. Lay went on to have a very successful solo career in China, but still remained a member of EXO. Lay is huge in China. Recently, the relationship between the 2 countries has improved so Lay got to be in EXO's special album in 2021. EXO has been on hiatus since 2019 as they take turns enlisting in the military. For the duration, they proceed with solo activities such as acting, modelling, solo albums, etc. This year, there will be a group comeback probably in April. All fans are anticipating Lay to join the group for the comeback. Hope he will.

Thank you for reacting to exo- this video was released in 2013 when exo were only one year in the industry and they were with those skills. Exo are actually got nine members: xiumin (shiumin), lay, suho, baekhyun, chanyeol, chen, D.O, kai and sehun. They started as 12 members, and were splited into 2 sub units- exo k: who did music in korean, they had six korean member, and exo-m who did music in mandarin, this group had 4 Chinese members and two korean members. but in in 2014-2015 3 Chinese members left the ground because of individual reasons, so exo became one group with nine members. You will notice that some of the time there are only eight members who participating in the mv's- it's because exo have now only one Chinese member- lay, and he is huge in China, and China plus korea had issues between them that made lay not to be able to participate with exo's activities, and that was true until last year, because last year lay participate in exo's album -don't fight the fleeing, he also left SM entertainment last year were exo is under but he is still part of exo. In other times you will notice that there are only six members who participating in different mv's, and that's because exo members enlisted one by one to the military due to a law in south korea that makes all the males in korea to enlist to the military, for idols the law says they have to enlist until age 30.

Do Kyungsoo is just an incredible person that I will never stop admiring. At first glance, the album, the songs and his vocals may seem simple, but in fact it is not so at all. A large range does not make you a better vocalist yet, because another important role is played by the "technique", which Kyungsoo undoubtedly has great. He has such control over his voice that he makes all the transitions from low to high notes completely smoothly and even seems to make no effort. Quite naturally, during a song, it can change its timbre from incredibly sweet to sexually rude and sound simply amazing in each. Kyungsoo is one of those few vocalists who can make your heart flutter.

This album is something unique that Kyungsoo has put his soul into. He himself wrote the lyrics for the title song "Rose", and also took a direct part in writing each song. He learned to play guitar while still serving in the army, studied independently and played each of his songs from the album to record. He has recorded songs in several languages "Korean, English, Spanish" which not everyone does.

Exo’s acoustic medley is definitely a must if you’re going to react to Exo haha. I would personally stay away from watching best vocals compilations because it’s often made by people who don’t know anything about singing and think unsupported high notes are a good measure of Exo’s vocal abilities. Acoustic medley and just live stages of their songs are a good place to start👍🏻

These four were main vocalists of EXO when they were still a 12 member group.
EXO is still going strong. They were on hiatus because of mandatory military service, but we'll have their comeback around June maybe 💞
They were such babies here, but they are still going strong and taking vocal lessons and making sure they can continue for a very long time

@@SpencerWelchVocalStudiothat's not a good recommendation because it filled with high notes that didn't show their real ability as a singers. Try to listen to their live performances. The video was too bias to just some of them and didn't do Kyungsoo justice because he rarely singing a high notes but Kyung-soo is an amazing belter, not airy, perfect pitch always.

Awww, baby EXO! They have grown as vocalists so much from even these very accomplished beginnings; I hope you'll continue to explore and see what music they have made over the 10+ years of their career and continue to make. A few members left near the beginning (including Luhan, light hair on the end) but the rest are still together and making albums together and as soloists.
We are looking forward a new album and comeback from them this year in fact! And they just get better and better as the years go by

The lead singer (red cap) is Kim Jongdae, stage name Chen. You are listening here to him only 1 year into Exo's debut; now it's 10 years later and he is a successful solo singer that comfortably sings various genres, from ballad to pop to funk to rock. He is regarded as one of the top kpop vocalists and although he is well-known in the kpop industry for his high notes, he actually has one of the best, if not the best, supported lower registers among male kpop tenors. His lower register is just MUAH chefs kiss. And don't get me started on his technical mastery. He has a complete vocal toolkit and is able to do so many interesting things with his voice, resulting in emotional and dynamic singing. I hope you will be able to react to some of his more recent live vocal performances or recordings. He has an official TH-cam channel called "CHEN" wherein he uploads live studio covers as well as studio recordings of his own solo music. From his channel, I recommend reacting to any of the following uploads: You Never Know, An Unfamiliar Day, Hold You Tight, 숨 (cover), Gift (cover), All of my life (cover). I also recommend reacting to some solo live stage performances, specifically: Watch Out (rock song!) live in Japan, Lights Out (self-written), Beautiful Goodbye, May You Bye, Drunken Truth (performance for Masked Singer). Or if you are interested in checking out some of his music videos, I recommend the following: Beautiful Goodbye, Hello, and May We Bye (duet with his friend and vocal trainer Onestar). Fingers crossed that you will react to any of these recommendations because I am think you will find a LOT to comment on and dissect/analyze when it comes to Chen's more current vocals/singing. As you can see in the Open Arms performance, he was already quite good 10 years ago, and he's only gotten better since then because singing truly is his passion and he continues to practice, improve and perfect his craft.

I am so happy that you where able to identify the real main vocal from EXO his name is Chen and he has some very advanced powerful vocals. They were so young here 😍 now they are still on the stage and still very popular.
This is amazing not only because of how young they are, how nervous and inexperienced, but also that none of them speak English. Luhan is no longer in EXO, the other three are the main vocalists - I think of them as (L -R) Baekhyun the heart of EXO, D.O. the soul of EXO and Chen the power. They all still go to singing coaches, Baekhyun and Chen especially want long careers.
Please react to something more up to date by them to hear how they have matured. Sweet Lies and Universe are two favourites, Miracles in December has D.O., Chen and Baekhyun.

It would not be an exaggeration for me if I told you that they are now much better than their beginning. They are known as thevocals kings of K-pop , and their performance is still too wonderful to describe even after 11 years from the start.
The first member on the right of the screen has left the group and the remaining three are the main vocal line. Chen is the king of ballads and high notes. Baekhyun who can sing anything and everything and Kyungsoo is the king of the rnb and .

Baekhyun, D.O. and Chen all have solo music and albums. I'd like to request your reaction to Baekhyun's "All I Got" lyric video. It is off his 4th album "Bambi". He is the blonde (blonde today, red tomorrow 🤣) His last 2 albums have made him the fastest million seller solo artist in Korea in 19 years. First thing you need to know, this was recorded back in the beginning of their career, like 2013 or 2014. EXO has three MAIN vocals, Baekhyun, D.O. and Chen, the first three in the four of this video. However, Yes, EXO is a group of 9 vocals. So knowing they were this great then, you should hear them now. I really really really really hope you react to more of their music. They have EXO Group songs, 7 of the 9 members have solo albums, there are 2 EXO sub units, they sing cover songs and OST's (soundtracks to movies and dramas) as well as singles or collabs called SM Stations. There is so so so so much to hear and see, I BEG you....please continue reacting to EXO. EXO is a diamond not only of SM but of the entire K-POP industry. I sincerely apologize, but the visual effects of EXO are too powerful, as soon as they appear on the stage, they capture you with their dazzle, not letting you go until the very end. It's been a whole 10 years, but they simply have no equal in live performances.

Wow this is such an old vid, way back when they were just starting out. They've trained consistently and has gotten way better through the years. They're still together tho currently in semi hiatus due to members fullfiling their military duties. They're expected to release a new album this year tho, so excited! In the mean time 7 members have released their own solo albums and become solo artists on their own right. They all could sing well.
