Thank you all so much for joining us for another Winter With DAC event! I hope you had fun!
I forgot to mention the previous winner was Griselda - she won the Leopard Leatherworks pen! Congratulations again Griselda!
If you did not see your photo even though you submitted the exit form, it's possibly because the file type was not supported by my computer. I was not able to open a few of them, and I apologize for the technical difficulty. Also, there were a few paintings entered that did not meet the size requirements for this event and were also removed from the parade, but only a few.
I did get feedback that it seemed our event had too many rules. I am sorry to anyone who felt that way, but we felt it necessary to have a baseline expectation for the event after a few years of hosting. Creating and sticking to rules at the beginning is easier than changing them as you go. Also, the flexibility of having a WIP instead of a new start was important to us, but we didn't want anyone to feel 'cheated' by doing less than them, so that was the reason for our 30x40cm minimum.
We appreciate EVERYONE who joined us (almost 650 total participants!!!), whether you were able to finish or not. And I hope that you will join us next time. I enjoyed reading your comments each week - it was definitely the highlight of the event for me. Thank you for following along and see you soon in my next video.

Congratulations to all the winners. I didnt see my finished canvas but I was kinda thinking I wouldnt. I submitted the start form but I never got a confirmation and I tried to upload to the album and i tried to subit a form for completed canvas. Im not upset because I still had a lot of fun and its a completed canvas and not another wip. Im super happy about that!!

Congrats! And regarding the rules, I thought it was new start OR 30 by 40 left on a WIP, mutually exclusive.
The minimum size for either was 30x40cm. I apologize if that was unclear at all.
@RachelRaeCraft I just feel bad because I think I know who got drawn and disqualified. I assured their painting would qualify. I was cheering them on to finish and submit close to the deadline. They had to make a last minute urgent international trip for unfortunate reasons which delayed completion.
It's okay. Really, I hope they just enjoyed working on their painting.
I'm curious who 310 was. I know my measurements weren't both at or over 30x40, but when I did the math or came out to be just barely over the same amount of space. I have no idea where my finish would have fallen in that 311 number so I was just curious. LOL
