Essence makes quite good polishes and very affordable and easy to find in Europe. I would like to see another video where you compare other matte top coats polishes (O.P.I, Essie) and make the longevity for each of them. I`m only familiar with Essence matte top coat and the reviews of other matte top coats are not helping me decide to try a product highly more expensive that might give the same results or even worse. I enjoy watching your videos, they are informative and relaxing .
My favorite manicure right now is the Essence ridge filler as a base coat with the Essence Everlasting Blooms Nail Glow (which is a dupe for Dior's Nail Glow). It's my "dirt-cheap Dior" mani while finishing up grad school. Thanks for teaching me so much about nail care! I'm a recovering biter/"trimmer with teeth" and have been clean for 8 months now! :D
Oh that must look amazing. My high end version of this look is Dior Base Coat Abricot and Dior Nail Glow. Essence is very good for the price and they have Active Nail Brightener which is very nice but doesn’t stay well as base coat. Glad to hear that they have something new. Is it pink as well? I haven’t seen it anywhere. I’m gonna look online now :))

The Essence dries slower than the Dior as well, but I can't afford to spend almost 45€ on two polishes before having a full-time job. But it does look really nice and since I started using cuticle oil my nails look very well-cared for!
Hi there! I had a chance to use them more since I did the video and I have to say I like the Extreme Wear Base coat the most. The Active whitener is awesome at brightening normal nails and doesn’t cause any yellow staining when used on its own at all (it’s nitrocellulose free and I think it’s the nitrocellulose that over time yellows the nails). BUT it doesn’t last very long. All nitrocellulose free polishes tend to peel after 3 days (except for Dazzle Dry, that stays well)
I’ve heard (but not tried) that, when your matte topcoat gets shiny, a quick swipe of alcohol will re-matte. I’d love to see you try, next time Señor Salon is wearing a matte.

Essence truely has some of the best bases and topcoats imo :D Have loved them ever since the brand started about 18/19 years ago :3

I didn't think I'd like a matte to coat but the effect is really awesome. My son uses it sometimes when he's playing nails lol.
