Did you hear about the capitol police officer who was fired after photos of him wearing a MAGA hat were discovered? You probably didn’t because the media suppressed it. This man was a Biden voter who put on the hat as a deescalation attempt while he and two members of the oath keepers successfully escorted some of his fellow officers out of the front of the capitol building. Did the protestors attack the police officers? No, in fact if you watch the video you can see that most of the crowd had a great deal of respect for the officers. One of the protesters was hugging each officer as they walked out. Why was that not reported on?
How about the false coverage of Brian Sicknick’s death? All of the major media outlets perpetuated the lie that Sicknick was killed by being hit in the head with a fire extinguisher. They peddled this lie for FOUR MONTHS until finally the medical examiner wrote a report that refuted those claims. Brian Sicknick had two strokes the day AFTER Jan. 6th. Even after the truth came out, did you ever hear an apology and correction from any of the media outlets involved in peddling a lie? No, they just stopped reporting on it.
These two examples (and trust me, I have more) represent the obfuscation of the truth by the media, the DOJ, the FBI, and the White House regarding the events of January 6th. I don’t care how you look at it, that is narrative pushing. With that in mind, do you really think you’ve been given all the facts to be able to arrive at a conclusion?

I greatly appreciate the emotion shown by Jonathan as he struggled through this horrific story. Many of us feel the same and find it very disappointing when pundits talk about the upcoming elections with such disdain for what we experienced. Michael Moore has suggested that we make January 6th a national holiday so that we can FOCUS every year on how close we came to losing our democracy as well as what we need to do to strengthen it. A great idea.
