I don't get all the rage about this cover. You shouldn't try to sound just like the original. I've heard people try to sing this song and fail because they were trying to live up to Freddie's vocals. It takes a particular kind of voice to cover it well and hit all the essential notes without feeling bound to trying to sing like Freddie. And this band did an excellent job. They aimed for something challenging and owned it. Some bands can't even cover a Hall and Oates song and make it their own. Not that it would help (dang I hate Hall and Oates).
