Sad to watch all the old roads dry up. The old heads knew what was coming, just like the Milwaukee Road guy's knew . poor management and trucks , Passenger service dried up also . To many Track miles per revenue
If railways woulda cared then they could a stayed in with trucks....when my father worked at the CRIP and then CNW a famous slogan from management was FU&$ IT, TRUCK IT!
