  • Hey guys, a new format on the channel. Something I've been wanting to do for quite some time now and will start doing more in the future, which is: showing real client projects. I thought that would be cool and interesting since I am also always interested in what other web designers have built for real clients. I hope you like it!

This new format is incredible. Instead of giving tutorial on how to create something for a project you go way more in depth on how the process of the project went. I really like the way you explain the background process of each aspect. What were you thinking to come out with it and why. Can't wait to see more of these.

this is great for me - as a photographer (amongst other things) - it's great to see design ideas and elements. My Wordpress design/site development 'journey' started with a desire to share my photographs online and it's always a challenge to come up with my perfect website based on my vision of how it should look. Owning Crocoblock and not using it to it's full extent - to date - your video shows me ways I could implement things and not rely on some pre-made theme ways of doing say a portfolio, thus having more control.

I'm glad I came across this channel, I wanna make websites for a living, but I thought the only way to do this was by programming with HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT etc, thanks to you I realized I was wrong, programming is too complicated for me, so I'm gonna try to learn how to use these design tools.

Nice design - just wondering if the client would have content management to allow upload and re-shuffle of images or testimonials or would that be too complex. Also, although the theme is black, I always associate grey buttons with 'not working'. Maybe they should be a more prominent colour - sorry if this sounds like a critique!

Good evening, Rino! Missing you here, hope you're doing well.
I just watched this video again and got a question:
What way did you choose to let her upload to the "My Recent Work" section?
I've reached a point where I need to let my client showcase some photos on his site.
I thought about creating a new custom post type with and Image field (multiple image uploads is possible with pods) and categories, so the loop grid could query the post type and each post would refer to one of his many clients, which would allow him to upload one or more photos for each of his clients as well it would let the site visitors to filter and I could show only the related categories on each of "current query" product archive pages too; in theory it seems nice to me.
I'm still going to test it, but it would be nice to know what was your choice for this.
    Thanks in advance, cya!

Zou je een video kunnen maken hoe jij de snelheid in je websites behoud en hoe je de compression van deze images doet?
