- Hello! Today, I'm taking you on a tour of Hangzhou, which is one of China's wealthiest second-tier cities. This city boasts a rich history, and it's currently gearing up to host the Asian Games. As part of its preparations, the city has undergone significant transformations, including extensive greenery design. It's the most beautifully landscaped city I've encountered.
The place I'm visiting today is Hangzhou's Urban Garden, situated along the banks of the Qiantang River. It's akin to a park and offers fantastic views of the cityscape.

Wife and I have decided to visit Hangzhou in 2025 in either April/May or September/October. Summer is just too hot there. I used to have a job that took me all over my country (USA) and Canada. There is no city in the USA or Canada that can compare to this. Can't wait to visit. We will be staying at the Intercontinental hotel which is that big golden sphere. So excited!

What you see here is facade. Most of Chinas cities are not a pretty sight. Beautiful? Europe has beautiful cities. Hangzhou have som cool architecture and looks impressive from certain angles (on this video) but it also have the vibe of new money. If you stayed there for a while and wanted to explore your illusions would quickly enough be challenged.

Я прожил в Ханчжоу 3 года, это прекрасный город, современная архитектура, очень много зелени, развитая инфраструктура, отличное метро, спортплощадки. С теплом вспоминаю как осенью, когда в воздухе стоит сладкий цветочный запах мейхуа, мчишь на электровелосипеде с музыкой в наушниках и просто получаешь такой дзен, который я никогда и нигде больше не испытывал. Очень по тебе скучаю, Ханчжоу, теперь у меня семья и маленький ребёнок и я очень хочу приехать сюда снова, чтобы показать это прекрасное место, где я был по настоящему счастлив и свободен.

I was traveling to Hangzhou 25 years ago. It looks like a totaly different city today. Unbeliefabel how fast the change was done and it looks great. But I also miss the old small houses and the traditional moon doors a little bit.

Just across the river is the Asian Games venue due to be held in 2 weeks time beginning 21 Sep 2023. This is the best video I have ever seen of this beautiful city.

It's a fact.
I have actually been to all the cities mentioned above,(except Hangzou) but Hangzou looks far more superior and majestic than Tokyo.
I have never been to those cities, so I don’t know how the construction of those cities is, but the construction of Hangzhou is the best I have seen so far, especially the greening, which is integrated with nature.
Singapore looks better than Tokyo
