I prefer these kinds of story telling builds so much more than any of the [100 HOURS] builds that we normally see at this scale, so much more entertaining and inspiring to hear the story of this place, hoping to see more like this!

Man, i really can't help myself but to feel overwhelmed with awesomeness while watching your videos.
It feels unreal. The amount of work on the map itself is crazy, but the editing, the storytelling, even the sketches...
Being honest, it's the first time that i feel that something is unachivable for me, no matter the amount of effort. Amazing!

So, I may be asking the wrong questions but how is it possible that cringe bs like manhunt are getting so much attention meanwhile this doesn't even have 100k??? What in the hell happened to appreciation for hard work??? Why are we entertained by milking of dry cow named "100 days". Why?
Videos are a huge investment, and time is your capital. Most sane creators take the tried-and-true path, and it’s a wise choice. After all, we’re all people trying to make a living in a cutthroat industry. I’m either an idealist or a narcissist and have chosen to try to make a new format that works for me. Maybe it’ll work, maybe it’ll blow up in my face. Either way, I’m gonna work myself to the bone to make it happen. Creative mode is the next wave.
@@shovel241 That's some real dedication to truly good content and I like it. I don't think I've ever seen one of your videos before but I'm absolutely amazed after seeing only this one video. I'm amazed by the build itself, by how "little" time it took you and even by the way your video is cut, with all of these little out-of-game sequences. I really wish you the best look with your mission and hope you succeed.

@@shovel241 it'll work. * it already is working. I was here before 10k and that was like a couple of months ago. From a viewers point of view, you have a channel that will get big, and then most likely stay big with people continuing to watch your videos. Hopefully that gives you a bit of confidence.
its just two completely different styles of videos lol. they might as well be two different games. Manhunt is high intensity action packed and dramatic. this is much more relaxed, slow paced, and artistic. a lot of people dont have the patience or ability to appreciate this sort of work or style of video. i absolutley love it and give massive props to anyone who does this. but you dont need to put others and other types of content down in order to show appreciation for one type or the other. plus Manhunt is not that low effort xD - sure it might be quicker to make, but let me tell you the editing on that series is pure artistry
You cant see age on the internet. A 12 year old viewing a video holds the same weight as a 50 year old watching a video. This is the explanation for a lot of the things that confuse people.

As a creative writer and artist, I absolutely love the lore and world building you add to flesh out the already extremely comprehensive and immersive builds. Even the names of the npc roles fit so well, especially for the theme of the travelers in this area, I do not know how you don’t have more subs
I can guarantee you Shovel, if you continue with these types of videos you will be one of the biggest minecraft youtubers and creators on this planet 🌏 From editing to storyline to storytelling, this is marvellous, extraordinary and revolutionary!

I love the fact that you're not building it for your self, but that you invited other builders and stuff, it could be cool for you to keep collabing with others, it's very enjoyable.
This is by far one of the most impressive builds I’ve ever seen!! I genuinely wish that there was a whole book series for me to read about this incredible world and all the different heists they embark on.

You've really inspired me. I've never even considered the idea of building with a story in mind. I literally built a castle because "i need a storage room" but it's got no life or personality. Worldbuilding to the insane depth as you showed here was awe inspiring and the building was phenomenal. Thank you, shovel.
I feel like some of this; particularly the way the magic works - is very similar to 'The Wheel of Time'. I still feel like it's unique enough, though; but other than that, this build is incredible - the backstory, the landscape, the interiors - all amazing. You deserve a lot more recognition than you're getting. Amazing work!

I usually don't comment on TH-cam, but since I followed you long time ago in Instagram, when I saw you have opened a TH-cam channel I was fascinated to know how is it for you to build this. this video is honestly made me go back into the the feeling of the good old days where there was passion and not just views. the struggles which were upon your way in this building, the way you've shown the solutions to your problems on the way and the different point of views of the other people.. just feels great. wow.

This is a crazy video on so many levels. I love the ‘yt algorithm shift’ away from how long a build could take, towards how effectively and efficiently you could make it come to life. I love the collaboration too - but how do you sort that stuff out? Is it compensated, or just favors? Also I would’ve loved for you to walk around in the city a little longer at the end, but don’t let that take away from how crazy this video was

I normally can’t keep up with lore from the sheer amount normally thrown at me all at once but this is just slow enough for me to get enough info and fast enough for me to not get bored. Love this series already!
