Did you do separate reservations for several legs of the flight? And if you did, how did you manage checking your bags between the different airlines and airports?

I bought the tickets as single 2-stop flights. Didn't have to worry about managing the baggage that way. Keep an eye on the flights, you can catch a good price if you have patience.
