Hey guys!..After visiting on vacation last year my family and I are moving to the area from Arizona 5/28/2024 and are interested in Niceville,.preferably Blue Water Bay. I am a total and permanent disabled military vet approved for VA Home loan. Before purchasing though I'd prefer to rent for 1 year to make sure this is the area for us long term. Do you guys work with rentals or know of anyone? Thanks for you time. Rich

Hey Rich! Yes we do work with rentals, we are limited in our capacity. We can get you all the lists that you need for all of the rentals and we do have a rental management side so if we have something in particular under management, we can get you into one of our properties. But if it's not one of our properties then we can give you the list and the information to the property manager to call in order to make an appointment. They will not allow us to show you properties, or negotiate on your behalf or anything like that, unfortunately.

Do hurricanes or flooding cause any issues in niceville or since niceville is a bit inland does it not cause issues? Any need to have to biy flood insurance also?

Hey Brad, yes hurricanes and flooding both happen in Niceville. even though it is a bit inland - there isn't an area in the Panhandle of Florida, even up north that will be completely untouched by hurricanes and possible flooding. The chance is much less, though. Our flood zones, particularly in Niceville, are very scattered, sometimes it's due to low land, others because it's closer to a body of water (lake, stream, etc). For the large majority of homes in Niceville though, flood insurance will not be required.
