Jack you did it again. Sitting here in downtown Seattle after a day's work in this concrete jungle, these videos are so welcome. I poured a glass of wine and sat there w/ you and Ellie, pretending that's my life. Even one night out in nature is enough to recharge our batteries and put things in this CRAZY world into perspective. Thank you, and I hope you checked yourself for those pesky ticks!! You do not want to take them home to Olivia!

That Mr. Heater Buddy Heater is going to be too much for your cabin. We got one for our camper van and the heat rising from the top was too hot even from several feet away. We’re going to try the Lil Buddy instead.

What a neat little tiny home you can camp in and haul with your ebike. A very relaxing time with you best buddy too. I just lost my loyal, zany, loving Husky to cancer. But, knowing we gave her little over 10 years of endless trips, walks, playtime, treats, and family time comforts me. Always love ❤️ on your pup!

You are exactly correct with that powerful statement. Now that I'm getting up in years I realize the importance of only investing emotionally connected people who can receive & offer such a powerful gift as Loyalty!! You think of everything from you and ellie wearing safety orange to having your coffee ready to brew.😊 you know I'm in my late 50s and I just want to say Jack you are doing life the right way! The reason I connect with your solo camping is the last immediate family member I had left in my life was my son John, I received a phone call 12/25/20 that my only child was found outside his apartment deceased. I am not mentioning this horrific incident in my life to draw attention I'm merely pointing out the reason why I can relate so much to your solo camping experiences. I scrolled down through your comments and I have to say that the people on here committing are folks who dream or imagine what it's like to be you or what it's going to be like when they have a opportunity to experience what you do on a regular basis. Thank each of you for letting me ramble and if you get a chance how about saying a prayer for me! God knows me and he knows my situation in entirety. Please everyone that has a family and be sure to pray protection over each of them with all your love and kindness. On the heater, take one of those metal mesh paint trays, hook it over the heater handle, then lay it down flat across top of heater. THEN, set a heat activated fan, like for a woodstove, on top of the tray. It will disperse the heat better through the camper and away from the ceiling. It will amaze you, too, at how much heat just the pilot light puts out. There are several videos on TH-cam on how to do this. Enjoyed the video!
I will definitely try that! I already put a heat shield up on the ceiling (it’ll be in a later video) and that has helped a ton 👍🏽👍🏽

Hi Jack and Ellie. That little camper would be so cool to stay in in a rain shower. Oh wow i would have had to give Ellie a great look over for the ticks . I hope you vacuum your little camper out to get any ticks that may be left. Its really crazy how ticks are making people allergic to red meat if they get bite by the ticks . The fall colors were really beautiful down by the lake . And Ellie sure was wanting some belly rubs when you where getting ready to leave. Glad yall had a great time. Great video.

You should bring a brush or comb for Ellie before you get in cabin to get rid of ticks. Also a lint roller for yourself to run over your clothes before you get in cabin, love watching you all

❤ Hopefully poor Ellie didn't get to many ticks. I thought tick season was over with all the cold and freezing weather. Can't wait to see snow camping. Definitely gonna need that heater for the winter coming up. Can't have the ceiling getting to hot to hot and it catches fire.., ❣️💕💜

Awesome shelter and I bet listening to the rain hit the roof is very tranquil. Got a little nervous how close she was to the heater after seeing how hot your hand was being the same distance.
The heat mostly goes upward, so directly off the side isn’t quite as hot as that. Either way, we didn’t run it very long this trip due to the lack of heat shield 👍🏽
A 2x2 ft piece of tin makes a fantastic fire shield for when it's pouring rain, lay it over the fire...works perfectly!

I got hooked on your two other bike camper videos. I subd and shared them with family. Luv in this episode. If you attached a chuck box not too big but with a lid that you could prop up as a table for food prep, propane cooking, or whatever that would really make it nice. You have inspired me to build one.

One of the handiest items I've ever come across is a 'pocket bellows.' It's the size of a rollerball ink pen. What you do is, telescope it out and blow air into the campfire. It's inexpensive and great kit to own.

Ellie is such a good girl she listens to you very well when she knows she can't go swimming. She finds other ways to have fun By getting dirty . I found your channel a few days ago and it is absolutely amazing. The peace and quiet of the middle of nowhere is amazing. I go up to the mountains away from all the people and noise when ever I can.
Maybe put some fire resistant drywall in that area near the heater
