I was hoping to take a stereo keyboard in via 2 jacks along with my stereo laptop 2 phonos and have both combined line inputs come out the XLRs at the back.. does it do that? thanks
stereo RCA input is unusable since the ground contacts are connected to the negative inputs of the XLR/Jack input. So there is no grounding on the RCA inputs. Any cable connected to the RCA inputs will pick up hum, as it is the negative signal of the balanced input. Even touching the ground contact of the RCA input will cause hum and distortion. Klark Teknik support told me not to use the RCA inputs. So strange for this kind of product
@@Ikagetsa After a weird coversation with KT service, I decided to do some modifications on my DN200's. It works as it should have working from the factory now.
@@timbeasley6883 , sorry for the late reply. I changed the internal circuit so the RCA shield is connected to GND, and added some resistors to inject the RCA signal into an opamp.
Exactly this! I've got a few of these and on every single one, you cannot use the phono input due to the insane level of buzz / hum that is produced...! The only fix we've found is putting a jack to photo adapter, or a jack to jack cable in the DI at the same time, nothing happens signal wise, but, it stops the buzz as it is then grounded! Such a bizarre fault from a great product!!

Is it also good for connecting my DJ-controller to my monitors (balanced)?thanx
Does split mode allow the input signal to go out each of the unbalanced thru-puts as well?
hi.. which passive stereo DI box?

Same thing. Strange for a brand like clark teknik. All others works great, very reliable.

@@petermaesverhuur what was the fix for this if you don’t mind me asking?
