Very nice story. This story reminded me the days I spent in Manipal some time ago for my grad school. Those three years are wonderful. I liked that area very much except for that nagging, depressing and relentless rain. This story brought back that rain scene back to memory once again. LOL!
The food is OK in that area, if One is a vegan. I was discontent . Nothing beats Andhra food in the entire southern India in my view. The only thing that stuck with me is “Idly and Chicken” for breakfast. I tasted it for the first time in Udipi. LOL!
The main character’s initial thoughts reminded me my thoughts when my health permanently turned to worse a few years ago. Now I no longer think that way. I learned to take one day at a time. I changed my thought process from “I lost everything what I have” to -“ one can not lose what he does not have.”. This knowledge gave me a sense of relief and started enjoying every small pleasure I come across.
Finally! I am finding my solace.
Thank you Anil Garu for giving me an opportunity to enjoy such a wonderful story. I was waiting for this for the past few weeks. Thank you so much.
