How is the Pico ground connected to the L298N ground?
Thats actually a solid question I think it might be through the batteries ground, otherwise I cannot see how else they would share a common ground

I followed all the steps correctly with the same materials but it didnt work for me
Nevermind, I got it work after realizing that I had to ground it from the middle pin connected to the positive battery wire to the pico
