    In a couple of videos re: holes, you quickly changed the 'sides' setting of the hole to 64. Why and what does that setting mean? I'm a beginner. Thanks for making great videos that get to the point!

    • @HLModTech
      @HLModTech  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question. 👍 For a cylinder it is the number of sides that make up the cylinder. An 8 sided cylinder would be quite blocky. With 64 sides there are pretty smooth.

    Great video and I designed a perfect wheel center replica for my 8 lug truck, however trying to do my 5 lug trailer wheels is not working! Since I can't put a shape on either side, i need to do one at a time and rotate 72 degrees.. Once I combine the shape and rotate it takes the radius from the new part shape so the circle will not spin concentric! With even holes across the same plane the radius stays center.. Any help out there?

      Maybe a bit late but i hope this is what you are trying to achieve. Do exactley as per the tutorial and rotate 36 degrees instead of 45 this will give ten holes. Ungroup the holes and delete every other hole; result 5 evenly spaced holes.
