Thank you Carmen! It was a long night for sure and the wind was scary but the beauty of the wilderness made it unforgettable. I’m so glad you’re enjoying the journey with me!
@@xbigbobsagetx Absolutely! The thought of venturing into a new place solo can definitely stir up some anxiety - it’s daunting, but pushing through it makes the experience so much more rewarding. Facing that fear is such a big part of the journey. You never know how it's actually going to go until you're there! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and for watching!
@@milkyISO Really appreciate it! Cold weather camping is such a unique challenge, especially here in Colorado! The challenges here definitely make it worth pushing boundaries!
Winter camping is definitely awesome if you have the right gear. I can't imagine doing so in a hammock so kudos to you! The coldest I've done is tent camping at ~23 degrees in Texas with a light dusting of snow on the ground.
@@OutdoorsybyNature Thanks so much! Winter hammock camping definitely pushes the limits, but with the right gear and mindset, it’s totally doable. You should give it a try - you might surprise yourself!
@@RhondaHoweth No breakfast this time - had to hustle to make it to my classes! And as for the bears, I think I’ll need better food and less wind to wake them from hibernation next time!
That had to be a LONG NIGHT with all that noise! Thank you for taking us along for the journey! The beauty is astounding.

Glad to live vicariously through you!
@@xbigbobsagetx Thank you! I’m glad I can share these experiences with you - living vicariously is definitely warmer than camping in the freeze! 🥶
@@AdamxSoldodefinitely! Also the total anxiety a lot would feel about braving a new land alone can’t be daunting. 😅

Awesome video. Pretty cinematic. Insta subscribed. I'm from Colorado and camping gear for the cold is very interesting.

@@Bezstopy Thank you! Glad you like it! Have you tried a similar setup before?
