The Elsweyr expansion of ESO did soooo much for the khajiit. Just seeing them live their lives in their homeland, seeing their ancient ruins and visiting their monasteries- the khajiit became so much more real.
ESO in general has done a really admirable job of fleshing out the history of the continent and it’s lore. Especially when it comes to the specific history of some of the races. Not a huge fan of the game in general but it’s pretty good in that area
This is one thing I’ve noticed while playing Skyrim and listening to the podcasts at the same time.. Scott looks like a Breton, Drew, a Nord, and Michael looks like an Imperial. Now I can’t unsee it.
I've said the exact same thing. There are people who say that Scott could pass for a Bosmer as well, or at least you could have an easy transition of his features into one. Basically, Scott looks like an Elf, lol 😅 some say he could even pass as a Dunmer if someone wanted to draw him like that, give him dark features, but that's only been a few passing comments.
Imagine this in TES: 6. You run into three Mage's. A Breton,A Nord and an Imperial that just drop little bits of lore and occasionally mention "muppets of fudge" ;)
Taking cover in trees while fighting Wood Elves is a Galaxy Brain level of move. The elves wont want to fight back because if they miss you then they'll hit the tree, which is against their religion and will result in them reverting to the Ooze
Something like that also happened when Caliphate Ali was warring against some opposing force. They stick pages from Qur'an to their spears and Ali's troops lost morale and couldn't fight back. Very smart and dishonorable way of fight
An interesting side note on Vermina - cats do have nightmares, or at least bad dreams. In some groups or forums, people talk about whether or not you should wake up a cat who is having a bad dream. You could get hurt if your kitty lashes out at whatever he's dreaming about. I guess I know who to blame now!
my cat once had a nightmare and was really disoriented-seeming when she woke up. she slowly checked out every corner of the house, her fur all puffed up. eventually she relaxed a bit but stayed near me
When I notice my cat is having a nightmare I don’t try to wake her. I just pet her gently and affectionately until her dream changes to nice or she wakes up and instantly realizes it was just a dream. I don’t know if this works on other cats, but it might be worth a try.

We got a taste of that in ESO with Elsweyr and Dragonhold I don't think a game set in Elsweyr would really work, though, since modern Bethesda is incapable of making a game have more than a few similiar 'biomes' (Skyrim has distinct zones but still manages to look the same everywhere) and Elsweyr is *known* for being a sandy dry desert in the North and a luah rainforest in the South. In regards to the moon singers all only having fractions of the entire story, I think that's a method of teaching themselves to be content with not knowing everything. Curiosity killed the cat after all, so maybe they consider someone's need to figure everything out as straying off "the path" like you mentioned. Plus the lore around them generally tries to paint them as mysterious so that plays into that.
