I love how when she saw you smile she started getting really excited. She seemed really proud of her work when she was showing you and you can tell she loves what she does. But when you smiled she started to get so happy, it was such a wholesome moment.

first thought was "nah" but after watching I see where this could be helpful. We almost all carry tension in our shoulders, neck, jaw and forehead and that tension could actually cause one side to appear more droopy, saggy, or puffy. rarely will the tension be equal on both sides. This would help ease the tension, could be very helpful for those suffering headaches or tmj symptoms and hits exactly the points go help ease sinus pressure. Sometimes we need to think outside our box to embrace others ideas

Exactly! The difference was very obvious especially for me since I saw myself on the mirror directly. Before and after is super! after this experience I'm trying to pay attention more to my self like my face, skin especially trying to sleep without making wrinkles on my face!

That's the conclusion I came to. While I do question alot of things from the holistic community (i.e essential oils for curing ailments) I still really like and respect it and can understand and see the practical use in alot of the procedures. This is actually pretty similar to what a physician would do to loosen muscle tissue. And since she's working off of acupuncture points it must be in the same vein as that. Ancient chinese medicine does have some real useful secrets.

Love this! For the people hating, the muscles in our face definitely determine shape/symmetry/wrinkles (especially as we age). If they didn’t, cosmetic Botox wouldn’t be a thing. Also there is a trend in the US called “face gym”. Salons people go to to get a “face workout” to help the appearance of their face! I think people also forget that the subtitles are literal translation from one language to another and this woman is very professional and not being rude to Twix.

Except she says the “bones have moved.” Bones don’t move. Unless you broke or dislocated them.

    • @yoonzino7433
      @yoonzino7433 3 ปีที่แล้ว +64

@@Surfnsnowboard3 It’s not as simple and ‘bones don’t move.’ Because your bones do move. Hold your arm out with your palm facing down. When you turn your palm to face upwards, you can feel your wrist bones move with your other hand. Stand up, move around. Rotate your ankles, move your neck. Technically, none of these bones are ‘moving’ in the way we imagine things move, like hair, noodles, etc., however they are moving in the literal definition of the word ‘moving’. Cartilage, ligaments, joints, etc allow your bones to move, or else we wouldn’t be able to function throughout our daily lives. Simple things like eating and breathing require bone movement. So while technically, bones don’t move in the sense that you can’t bend and shape them, they do move- so the ‘bones don’t move’ comment is misleading, because bones do move, just not by themselves.

It's funny how the cultural norms differ from from the US to Japan (e.g. telling someone "one side of your face is bigger than the other," or "this side of your face is loose and chubby.") I've also heard from my Japanese friends that it's very common for friends and relatives to immediately tell you look fat when they see you.
In America we're very careful about saying anything that could be interpreted as criticism or confrontation in most social situations with friends and family (unless we're joking around).

It’s rather strange to think about, but I probably need to do some exercises to get my jawline back into shape, I’m starting to notice when I bite down, my jaw likes to go off to the left a tiny bit instead of being dead center.
It’s videos like these that makes you realize about the way the body can change over time, and it’s important we take care of it on a day-to-day basis.
Whoever you may be, dear reader, never be afraid to take care of yourself and ensure of your physical, emotional, and mental well being. Focus on dealing with your own issues first, then go about taking care of other problems throughout the day. After all, you can’t expect yourself to get a lot done if you’re overwhelmed by everything crashing down on you.
Take it little bits at a time. Chip away, and don’t expect immediate results. Soon... You’ll grow to live a life care-free knowing you have all of the small steps memorized by heart, and that it’s much, MUCH easier for you to deal with your more larger problems knowing the smaller ones have been taken care of.
Life is a slow process, and when you take your time and learn what it is you’re learning, it shall teach yourself and others around you how to lead your own path to your own success. Above all else... Love yourself. Love others. Don’t let your imperfections be what holds you in fear. Be fearful of if you’re unwilling to change something in your life to make your mental, physical, or emotional health better.
Whoever you may be in the world... Know that your imperfections are what make you who you are, and that you always have the opportunity to train yourself to make those imperfections a little lesser. They’ll never truly be gone, but they’re there for you to look back and see just how far you’ve truly come in your journey.
Smile at the small things that make you laugh, enjoy the things you enjoy, and don’t let your fallacies slow you down... Learn what it is you need to fix, and start slow and steady... But never, ever stop and tell yourself you’re not worth it, because you are.
I want those who are reading this to look at themselves in the mirror... And tell themselves: “I am me, and that’s okay. I can fix whatever it is I need to fix, and do whatever it is I need to do.”

Tips for if you ACTUALLY want to improve your face:
    1) Examine your bite position. An underbite gives you a double chin. An overbite can make your face overly square. Set your teeth correctly.
    2) Press your tongue against the roof of your mouth and try to relax your jaw. Many people have overly tense jaws, which affects your neckline and gives you headaches.
    3) Heavy bags under the eyes are difficult to reduce. You can try drinking less caffeine, staying hydrated, and making sure you get enough good quality sleep. A cold compress will temporarily reduce bagginess. As an added bonus, good sleep and hydration improve your skin just in general.
    4) Plucking your eyebrows into a better shape is self-explanatory.
    5) Try a side parting, or conversely, try a center parting for your hair. The right pick for you will improve the symmetry of your face.
    6) Try a lymphatic drainage massage. This helps move along any sluggish lymph around your eyes and sinuses, which will reduce puffiness.
    7) For acne, wash your face with hot water. For puffiness, wash your face with cold water. For both, be very picky about what skin products you use, as the wrong sort will make it worse.
    8) Retinol is one of the few ingredients in serums that is known to actually work. Use it at night, because it can increase your risk of sunburn.
    9) Never smoke and reduce your alcohol intake to improve your skin and general health. Stay out of the sun or use sunscreen to keep your skin looking youthful.
