How To Add Front Splitter Mercedes SL55

This is how I installed the carbon fiber front splitter onto a Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG R230. This process is the same for all 2002-2011 SL models. Of course, buy the proper splitter according to your front bumper style, AMG vs Non-AMG.

Unrelated question but when installing silvers if you have lowering links already are those necessary to remove after installing the coil overs?

No need to. I actually remove the sensors when I install coilovers. But they can remain if you’d like.

Lol…..no. The SL55 comes with this stock. It’s an AMG OEM spec.
