This is one of the best ADV rider series on TH-cam. Most of them have good video but yours includes a lot of valuable info for us folks who are in the planning stages of similar trips. Simply stating the dates for the trip and the temperatures experienced along with your weather comments is huge. All comments on tire choices, maintenance issues, etc. are valuable. Thanks for a great series.

I've been adventure riding since my dad removed the training wheels from my bicycle. You're a inspiration to me. I'm 65 now and just recently coming out of 9 years of injuries, surgeries & recoveries. My number one motivation has been to get back in the saddle again. This is my year! FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Jr. Joe from Colville Washington. I watch a lot of offroad motorcycle stuff and I also like Itchy Boots as well. And I must say, you do a great job on your videos. Some just don't talk. You take us with you. That is a big difference. Like the post before mine, ditto. The day of the trip, the weather of the trip, where to stay not to stay, who we should say hi to if we see them, all info that us other riders are looking for.
And I must say, a man at your age, doing what you are doing, more should follow suite. You even film quite well. You don't have a shot of your gut with the audience just looking at how out of shape they are for minutes upon minutes. I just wanted to say to you, Awesome job. Keep it up. I ride a KTM 1290 SA and would love to run into you on a ride.
So, on Super Bowl Sunday, I just wanted to say, I think your channel is awesome and I hope I am doing what you are doing at that age.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. Reward enough to hear the videos are finding value. I’m thinking as I learn this process and ride, what would I want to know and see as a rider/viewer. Keep it organic. I’m extremely lucky to still be able to get out and do this stuff. It’s incentive to stay in shape. I have immense respect for what Noraly accomplishes. BTW, Coleville is a great area for a rider to live.

This video in Idaho is Sams original TAT I believe. Back when it cut through Arco to the Oregon border at Weiser, Huntington area north of Ontario where his current route joins. It came through Featherville but I will leave it there and join the IDBDR north. I have done his current TAT and it is pretty boring through Idaho staying south of Boise.

Camping along the way. The goal is to make it to Wallace. We'll see how it goes. We'll be on Honda trails and TW200s. Appreciate the video man. Super good, quality YT content right here!!! @@jrdepew wanted to come back here and tell you seeing this very campsite in person, going over dollarhide and other spots after seeing it on your videos here was surreal. We camped on the Boise about one mile past Smoky bar store for 7 days and my buddy from Fairfield showed us around. He has a mining claim up on bear creek 20 or so miles north of Smoky bar there. It was the highlight of our trip. 9500 ft peaks and an old hard rock gold mine. We broke off from them on day 8, went your same route in reverse over dollarhide to Ketchum and north all the way to Wallace. Headed back south on the bdr and some other random routes we made. Got video up of some of the route over on the channel if you wanna check it out. I appreciate you sharing your journeys man. Really was nice to see it in person.
