I must say this is the best nollywood movie I’ve seen in a long time. Being so young I never saw a perfect marriage but always had this fairytale in my head of what a perfect marriage is and now reading the scriptures myself and understanding that why the imperfect marriages I’ve seen failed was lack of the Instructor’s manual - The Most High God. A lot of young women both single and married need to watch this movie to understand the concept of marriage and few reasons why marriages fail . The so called modern day women need to get their head right and follow the order of God in 1 Corinthians 11:3!! . Amazing movie - Well done to the people behind this production👏⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. More nollywood movies should be enlightening !

That's something else I understand for better or for worst. I don't care for people trying tell others to stay in an abusive relationship. This is a movie but most times they don't change nor do those that cheat. Women are expected to live with it and many use the word to hold someone in bondage. It's true work on your marriage it's true it may not be easy and sometimes things go south yet when it's time to move on or risk death run. What of the potential diseases the spouse may bring home that an innocent person have to live and may die with. If a person loves another why inflict so much pain on them it should be I can't hurt you because it would be like hurting myself.

I've only gotten to 11:18 - 14:50 and it's such a shame that as vile as Edet is still shacking up with the maid he got pregnant, Edet's uncle still preaches to Julia to take him back, choosing to leave out vital information that Edet is expecting a baby with his house-help. I don't know why people these days - especially women - put pressure on the woman to stay in a marriage where vows to be faithful were broken. It's disgusting how us women are treated in society, especially regarding the decision to leave a husband who has thrown away the marriage by choosing to cheat on his wife. If Julia does take Edet back, she will indirectly give him permission to cheat again because there were no repercussions. Smh. You can forgive someone without letting them back into your life. *Marriage is a commitment for both people to stay loyal and faithful to each other* and once the spouse(s) take it too far then that should be grounds to go your separate ways. Marriage is not a prison.

I would pray and leave. None of these relationships shows the husbands being remorseful and repentant . It takes 2 people to make a marriage. Emotional and physical abuse is not acceptable. This is one of the best movies in a Nollywood industry woow. This is so damn amazing story. But Julia going to apologize to Edit was a very big mistake. Julia going into prayer was the best choice. This is beautiful.

All the outcomes look unrealistic but I get it, stories had to be told. Or maybe because I have seen very different outcomes from several marriages in trouble. Or maybe it’s also my newly discovered pessimistic nature with regards to negative marital issues. Good movie all the same.

The truth is that some of these instances are horrible on the women.A lot of women have died simply because society and family did not support them to leave their marriages no matter how sad,broken or beaten up they were in their marriages.Look at Dominic's wife,her parents sent her back to her abusive husband with her pregnancy.He could have killed her for all they cared .They were only interested in saving face.
Did anyone notice how Jullia and her friend kept saying that they loved their marriages and the idea of being married.They were not too interested in what transpired in it or whether they were in love with their spouses or if they were happy or not.
