    26 years in machining and I'm learning more programming from Titan's of CNC than my entire career. The plain truth is most places want button pushers. Opportunity's aren't available because they want you for production or just get parts out. We turn into mindless operators that go nowhere. Most businesses don't realize that wealth of knowledge you have and what you can offer them. You're expected to fall out of the sky and program anything within minutes. What's inspiring here is the fact he's trying to motivate the younger generations to move on their hidden abilities. Your mind is the ONLY TOOL you'll ever need to succeed. So get started, push yourself to learn, push yourself to be that somebody who wants to be needed. Make that difference and stand up to your new found abilities. Go forward and don't look back other than reflection. Experience yourselves and feel great about your work. Soon the clouds will part and see that success we call sunshine. Amen

    I LOVE YOUR MOTIVATIONAL SPEECHES!!! As a fairly new CNC programmer (10 yrs.) its easy to get overwhelmed by the expectations of the engineers I work with. Rising to the occasion is the reward, and it feels great when a project comes together and the world is a little bit better because of something I did. Thanks for your content it helps to know that there are others fighting the same fight.

    If no one wants to teach you how to do thing with the machine you run, then ask the shop manager for the manual and read. If they say no, then go somewhere else.

    Titan took a lot of advice from you over the last year or so. Talked to you recently about being an owner and pushing the limits. Love your free vids and have taken it to the machine and boom making parts stealing contracts from China. Have a good week buddy, im out making parts here in the USA building a good life for my family and future generations.

    CNC Programming never did a thing for me, and I was a programmer for 20 years. Every shop I worked in treated their employees like crap.

    • @travisspeedee
      @travisspeedee 5 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      CNC programming and CNC machining saved my life. In the 20 year you worked. You worked at the wrong shops. You never found the right machine shop that would treat you well and pay well. Those are the shops that hold you down and hold you back.

      @@travisspeedee I have worked in small shops, and I have worked for major companies. I have worked for Guhring, MAPAL, Star Cutter Co., Onsrud, and the companies that treated me best were the small shops. In my general experience most shops treat those who work on the shop floor as second class citizens. I am glad that you work for a company that doesn't do that.

    What about a company where its favoritism towards certain people and those are the ones bleeding the company dry. Small company 15 people and 5 of those are set in their ways. Won't listen to others advise on projects or try to force the hard workers out that see what they are doing to the company. No matter what is tried nothing changes the owner won't put his foot down. Sorry for the rant I love your show and videos defiantly pushes me to be better daily. I have taken your attitude of pushing myself daily, and trying to uplift the company no matter what obstacles are in my way.

    THANK YOU for the all the inspiration and valuable information!!!
    ... I've been at a production shop for almost two years now. I got hired on with very little "machining" experience..
    I tend to Over-Analyze everything I do, constantly trying to improve everything.
    I see a problem... (whether it be something small like for example the cleaning solution we use, takes forever to fill spray bottles.... or bigger things like speeding up production with simple but effective methods like how we process Magpul© Castings...
    However, others dont always see my vision... I'm learning to adapt and when to "implement".
    I WILL OWN MY OWN SHOP (nkt sure when, but I'm not giving up!
    I just want to say Thank You for taking YOUR time to do these videos!!
    You are a huge inspiration!!

    I did this day in and day out and I gave up….I pushed everything to recommend”hours and hours of research and talking to tool reps” and I got told I was stupid and I was crazy for feeding a 1/2 inch endmill on a36* at 32ipm and s3247 and feed rates jumped from 12ipm to 22”btw not what I programmed”…..for 3 months then people got uncomfortable and everything went back to 2200 an 12…….
