Can anyone answer why an interventional radiologist would deem needle biopsy for a mesenteric mass unsafe?

cause the mass would be surrounded by peristaltic bowel and blood vessels maybe

why not put the patient to sleep instead of feeling pain?

the areas are numbed and if the patient is asleep you can't accurately monitor their blood pressure.
