I know this place. I worked there many times this year and last year with CP, between White and Greely on the Mountain sub. Please stay at least 30ft from the track and expect a movement in any direction at any time.
Now that’s a catch! Did you notice the popping of the rails as the train was coming around the curve and slowing? A crewman getting on the grainer and a same direction meet of 400, very good Zeegher!
This past week I saw south east Texas/Louisiana area a local with a bn green and two bluebonnet geeps, cp and cn power in a Houston yard, a warbonnett working industries in port of Houston, and dozens of amazing catches that I see frequently because I drive through POH weekly, I just need to take the time and film but it’s for work so I never have the time to stop by the massive yards to film
@@zeegher eventually I’ll take an extra day down there to film specifically the main yards there, and some of the port of Houston’s huge rail networks you name a railroad it’s likely I’ve seen it there, and probably every type of engine from the last 30+ years running daily.
At first I thought the surprise was the girl till I realized it was a man HAHA. And that is why you don't make judgments, and also that surprise is why you don't stand on the tracks thinking just one trains going by! good job
I think the real surprise is that there is a lumber shortage after seeing the second train go by. I would say there's a grease shortage by the squealing of the wheels
Although I love the video with the mountains in the background I must comment on the type of commodities that this particular train is or was carrying. I believe it’s a potash train as most of the cars are rusted and some of them have a potash insignia on them. Having worked in a potash company rust and potash go hand in hand. Great catch though. 😀😀😀
The potash trains that run through Revelstoke are very distinctive, the have the K&S logo or the Canpotex logo very visible on the cars, that's why i think this was an empty grainer 😊.
Awesome catch! Great location

Very realistic looking /sounding train set...
😄

I didn't see that Tony, thnx!
Tony that was the 400 EB loaded with lumber
@@dougberry1011 lol, how did I miss that, I should have realized that.
Is it the rail moving, or is it wind-up in an axle releasing?
@@nickboers pretty certain it’s the rail it’s self shifting because of the curve
Great video! Crew change, mountains, second train. you make it feel like your right their live,
Thnx Dale... i got lucky!
Nice video. I recognized this spot, great location
Wat leuk, wat leuk!
Man, wat heb jij veel mensen blij gemaakt met jouw vakantiereis.
Excellent Enterprising Endeavor. Great Catch 👍
Trains seen heading n-e over the bridge just east of Revelstoke.
There is an access road here from CA hwy 1.
Nothing like the sound of trains
Hearty Greetings from India 🇮🇳
Wish my lift to work looked like that, lol. 😅😅
Nice Video! Love the DPU sound at the end!
Excellent video ! 😊👍
Thnx Mike!

Nice video thank you.
An ancient rebuilt 8028 and a crew man coming from nowhere and A RACE , very cool 😎 mister

Its the brakes. Fresh brakes make that noise
@dan conrad tight guage causes a high pitch squeak for sure. But thats the brakes :)
Excellent video!!
That would be the conductor getting on after doubling up their train in the revelstoke yard
That last DPU sounds amazing
That dpu sounded like a hot rod!
Nice catch Zeegher.
Exactly like we have in Novy Bug
wow that train has quite the lean going into that curve!
super elevation its called

grain cars for sure....emptied them for years at Cargill in N Vanc
Nice catch ...
That was EXCELLENT....
Awesome two for one !!!
That turbo
At 11:19 so is CP going to brown boxcars now with the simple initials of "CP" as a money saver?
idk Smokeless...
Lol not brown at all, and don't know why they would cut costs on the logo bud, it's just the new
I would suggest the CP only is in prep for the merger which has now received approval.
Awesome!
4:48 Where did that crewman come from ?
Crank up my speakers, crank up the bass
Love the sound of that EMD engine ticking over.
Nothing but GE locomotives here....
Not emd, ge loco
imagine 4 over. Those EMD'sinnotch7 in a tunnel. Dooming my kidneys. Some justice off the cat walk. Like a symphony ochestra in. Diesel major!!
I wonder why one bridge had the steel frame above it but the other didn't appear to have one. 🤔🤔
I'm no engineer Dennis .. idk 🤷♂️
I'm going to guess the truss bridge is the original line, & the other bridge/line was added at a later date.
Nice catch Zeeg!
HOW LONGGG IS THIS TRAINNN
Trains in this part of North America can be up to 13.000 ft long ( about 3.5 kms)
nice video zeegher
Thnx Mark!
#1 train has fertilizer / potash cars not grain cars.
Totally was not figuring on another coming the same way.
Well, there are 14 minutes of my life gone. So I'm going to share. 😆
Al meer dan 35457x bekeken!!
Need a rail lubricator on the near track
I work on that line and know that guy lol
how many rail cars in these two trains?
My guess would be around 325-350 for both trains together
How do you get to this area?
Follow hwy #1 east out of Revelstoke, after a few kms you can turn right on to a gravel road down to the tracks. Rough Road!
@@zeegher thanks for the info bud! Appreciate that. I’ve always wondered how to get there.
nice
Kool
is that hair safe?
Lol
👍
Total waste of 14 minutes of my life!
