Janie and Robbie together again ❤️ Your garden is looking so GOOD! Last night we were expecting a storm (which missed us😩we need rain) and I was running around making sure nothing would blow away, I actually REALLY saw my garden and how beautiful things are filling out, sometimes I just see the things that aren’t doing so well or work that needs doing but this time I SAW IT for what it is…a pretty little garden 😍

I use shade cloth over my veggie garden. It produces alot better. Unfortunately for some weird reason this year my garden is overwhelmed with white flies. Its ridiculous.
This was a perfect day, starting with Robbie this morning then my friend came over to help me in my garden and now ending the evening with you guys! ❤ The garden is lovely and Robbie you did a great job and brought the entertainment 😂. Love you both! Oh, and Monty gave us the perfect ending 🐕😍

Sunflowers! 🌻 I started with one $1.50 pack of seeds. About 15 plants. THEN! The birds 🐦 spread the seeds, the wind 🌬️ spread the seeds and as I cut spent flowers and just let them drop to the ground, more seeds spread. Now I have a sunflower explosion 🎉 and I can remove seedlings where I don’t want them and let the rest grow. I love seeing the cars stop to look 👀

Hi Janey, I have been watching you since your old home. Glad I found you because your zone is the same as my zone 9b except I'm in FL with humidity and sand soil. I used to live in NORCAL Livermore area but I was not a full time gardener back then because I had a full time job. Now I am learning to enjoy gardening, sharing my little knowledge because of you and other gardener. Thank you!🌺💜
If you and Robbie both love Dusty Miller, you should look into senecio Angel Wings. I have some in my landscape and I absolutely love the texture. They also remind me of a brighter whiter version of lambs ear.

I planted my cucumbers in the afternoon shade from a mature rose bush in LA. Last year the direct sun was to much for them to handle

They say foxtail ferns need shade I live in Texas. I have one in a pot that gets full sun morning until late afternoon and believe me it’s 100+ here and this thing grows like a weed.

Everything looks so pretty! The one and done sunflowers will give more from the leaves if you cut the lead head . At least some varieties will. And the stems are way smaller and easier to use in a cut flower arrangement!

Love your videos, I heard you say you want a mimosa tree, I call them "Silkies" I do love them. But... I didn't mind the messiness, but I wil just say those trees reseed l all over, I had one next to my garden, every year I was pulling up seedlings all over, a few I left because once that root takes hold they can be hard to pull up. 30 years I'm still finding new ones. 😅
I thought the same thing about “winter squash”. Just figured out this year that it’s grown in the summer. 😂
The toad / frog rose is growing nicely! 💐💚🙃
I grow prolific cucumbers in the shade. Tomatoes too. We are so humid and our nights stay in the 80s and 90s.

That exact same thing happened go me with my orlaya! We had heavy, heavy rains for weeks at a time and it was just TOO much! Out of my control, but I was super sad to loose it! Loving your cut flower garden...that dark scabiosa...just wow! I wonder who might be behind the camera...lol! Robbie did a great job as the camera man:) Thank you for the tour ~ everything is amazing!

Have u heard about terracotta Hoya put it next to the cucumber and your cucumber will do great in full sun.
