Catalyzing Equality in Africa: Spotlighting Women's Leadership and Agency inGender-Responsive Financing - Gender equality is an essential component of sustainable peace and development. Despite significant strides in recent years, challenges persist. Of critical importance to achieving true gender parity is the implementation of gender-responsive financing. Recognizing this, our discussion program aims to explore and delve into the strategies, challenges, and opportunities associated with integrating gender-responsive financing mechanisms to expedite progress towards more inclusive and equitable societies. The discussion centres around experiences from Kenya and South Sudan, in particular, to facilitate an insightful dialogue that will contribute to the development of actionable strategies and policies.
